Luxary small hotel just off quite Vincent Square at a fair walking distance from Victoria Station and S:t James Park tube station. The area is very quiet and offers plenty of restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We occupied a very spacious (four windows en suite facing the park and balcony) Superior Room with alla facilities, except free Wi-Fi, which should...

I am pleased you found the hotel excellent and I hope you will return. Your comments have been noted. The whole of the UK utilises the 3 pin plug system.

Our experience with the Grange Rochester was very good. We stayed two nights without air conditioning but found it to be very comfortable with the windows open. Then we stayed another two nights with air conditioning but the trade-off for A/C is that those rooms are only on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes to the 4th floor....

I am pleased you enjoyed the Grange Rochester Hotel and found its location good for visiting some of London's finest tourist attractions. The wifi issue is currently being addressed. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you back in the future.

There was no mini-bar in my exec room. There was no bedside table. Presumably this was because the bed was only one foot off the floor. There is no air-conditioning. It was hot and the fan provided merely moved the warm air around. There was no wine glass - I had to use the tumbler provided in the bathroom. I...

We stayed here in July, so a bit muggy and warm. No air conditioning in room, but room was clean and staff was friendly. Great location, close to sights and Westminster area. We would stay here again, but probably not on hot days.

I stayed next door at the refurbished Grange Wellington a couple of weeks earlier and wish that I had returned there. This is a shame, because the Grange Rochester's location is similarly excellent and the staff are a jolly and helpful crew. I also made the mistake of peeping at one or two empty rooms whilst housekeeping staff had the...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your feedback regarding the Rochester Hotel. We are sorry to hear your stay was not as you had expected. Your feedback is important and I thank you to taking the time to review your visit. The Rochester Hotel is more traditional than the newly refurbished Wellington Hotel, with the buildings being very different in layout...

Really enjoyed our stay while we were London. Rooms were a bit small, but we were out sightseeing most of the time so it wasn't an issue. Rooms were very clean & the staff was very attentive during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

We booked five rooms for an overnight trip in June. The rooms were clean with tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very near to all the tourist attractions. Overall it was really nice. The price was very reasonable for being so near to everything and included continental breakfast although we could have paid...

Stayed last night on a business trip to London. Hotel itself is very nice to look at and excellent interior. Check in very fast. Was upgraded to a twin room which was a nice touch. Room itself spotless and fit for purpose. Breakfast lovely and quick check out. If it wasn't so hot -which is nature's fault not the hotels...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July and it was nice. It took me quite some time to find it as it is a little off the beaten track for Victoria. The staff were nice enough. It was the hottest weekend of the year and there was no air conditioning, just a small (not great) fan. The...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
