Stayed for 4 nights in an executive room. Booked online directly with hotel and the assistant manager met us on arrival. I had mentioned that I was having a short London break to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we received a special desert delivered to our room on arrival at no cost. The room was spacious and comfortable. Some of... More

Beds and linens fabulous, styling of room and bathroom excellent. I know it's in a prime location in London but our deluxe room, it was very 'compact' - fine for one night but potentially claustrophobic for more, no tea/coffee or iron in the room. All staff were just superb and give really personal service. Nice touches of water and running... More

This is an excellent, small hotel in a great location just off of Piccadilly. The staff were extremely helpful in getting us to the right place. The doorman actually walked us out to St James Street to make sure we knew how to get to a location. The bar is very nice. The breakfast is very good and varied. The... More

Have utilized the St James Club many times over 30 plus years through many refurbishments and modernizations. First discovered it as a reciprocal club of my home club in the States. A short walk to tourist, theater and various shopping districts. An excellent leisure or business hotel. Stayed in a two room suite with a pleasant view. Very quiet because... More

We felt pampered and cared for by each and every person working at this elegant, boutique hotel. Our superior room was very inviting, well furnished with an extremely comfortable bed, the extra touches made the stylish bathroom a pleasant, relaxing room. Delicious Continental breakfasts were included. The variety of mouth watering, homemade jams and breads were a treat. We were... More

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel recently. The hotel is in an excellent location. The quality of the furniture and fittings in the rooms and bathrooms is high, and gives your stay a luxurious feel. I was in Room 301, which had a nice terrace outside where you could comfortably relax after a long hard day. What lets the... More

We stayed here on holiday and the place was great. It has the classic old-world British feel and attitude. From the porcelain and brass fixtures in the bathroom to the hospitality of the staff, we couldn't have had a more appropriate place to spend on our first visit to the United Kingdom. The staff was more than helpful, taking care... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
