Room was nothing like in the pictures, bed very basic. no proper wardrobe, small hanging space. the neighbouring street is noisy with bin lorries visiting through the night to clear rubbish from the restaurants. also the doors in the block are very stiff meaning you will be awoken whenever someone gets back to their apartment.

I booked the single apartment for 3 nights as I was travelling alone. Oh but it was tiny. There was no proper hanging space for my clothes or storage for my suitcase. So I was shuffling about the room. There wasn't a decently sized mirror. Natural light was poor. The shower walls needed a good scrub clean. I asked to...

...a little disappointing...we had to climb two flights of steps ( no lifts) with heavy luggage. Not a good thing for seniors. This is really small and the bathroom was a bit worrisome to get in and out of the shower...if anyone is the slightest bit overweight they would never get in. You have to step about a foot....try getting...

I stayed here with my friend and two teenage daughters. We had a very comfortable stay and can complain about nothing. Area was fine and even though the closest underground station was closed for work the next one was only a short walk away. Room was spacious and clean with a full sized kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

I had reserved a double room for this trip, since the single one looked really cramped on the photos. They kindly upgraded me for free to something bigger, and then discovered they were redecorating it, so upgraded me again to their family room. Interesting. There's no way I would stay here with a family. The bed upstairs was over an...

We stayed here with friends to celebrate my Boyfriend's birthday - it is the perfect location if you're looking to spend time in East London. We were close to everything we wanted - great local restaurants, good pubs, amazing clubs and shops! The underground is close by and this made it easy for us to get around and see greater...

Don't look at the photographs and believe your room will look like that. Location good as 5 mins away from Old Street underground station. On entering there is a sewer manhole beneath the entrance mat and boy can you smell that it is there. The reception staff are quite abrupt, they will ask to photocopy your id and credit card,...

The apartment was supposed to b suitable for four people. However, it was a small room with 4 beds in the same room. More like a bed sit. Very disappointing. To top it off they took a further 150 pounds out of my account. Not happy and will not stay there again.

Nice and very clean appartment, well located and with good public transport. Expensive extra charge for leaving luggage for a few hours last day. There is not a very good table/chairs for a family lunch.

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
