Well, all I can say is my father in law had the best 80th birthday ever... The hotel staff really do look after you, and make you feel special, especially the birthday boy. Food was great, lovely wide selection at breakfast, dinner in the Blue Boar and afternoon tea, all of great quality. The bed was so comfy and the...

We stayed for five nights in a Junior Suite which was modest but well appointed. The location was ideal for all the places we had to walk like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster and the Tate museums. This former InterContinental Hotel was less sprawling than I expected, with 256 rooms. The staff certainly gets an "A" for effort though service...

London for business and/or pleasure and have stayed in numerous large and small luxury hotels in central London over the past few years and this one is excellent. Well equipped rooms, first class service from the front of house through to the restaurant in the evening - I really cannot find a fault.

I was lucky enough to stay for the first time last Thursday along with a colleague when we were in London for a work trip. As well being a beautiful hotel, the service was impeccable and we were greeted and looked after warmly from check in to check out. My room was very attractive and comfortable with everything you would...

Elegant classy luxury. This is a small hotel with only 6 floors and feels more like a boutique hotel rather than part of a massive global chain. Rooms are perfectly fitted out and extremely comfortable. Nespresso machines with a good supply of capsules along with excellent bathroom amenities help. The rooms are not very large by international standard but are...

Somehow there is an understated elegance to the Conrad. It is on the surface a business destination yet they cater for a romantic experience as well as any hotel I've ever stayed in. From arrival to departure we were treated like royalty. The rooms may not be to some tastes but suited us perfectly and the breakfast was brought to...

Just stayed for one night. The location was great, quiet and the room was well appointed (if a little small). Good gym and great Club Lounge facilities. Overall the hotel is probably needing an update but from the reception to the doorman, the service was great.

We stayed at the Conrad St. James over the Christmas holiday in 2016. The service was absolutely amazing, our room was always cleaned and spotless, and the location of the hotel was across the street from the St. James tube station. Main attractions such as Big Ben, Parliament, and the London Eye were a 5-10 minute walk away. We stayed...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
