We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel (5 nights) for the first part of our trip to London. Margarita at the front desk is incredible - she made us feel like we were the most special guests at this hotel. She has infinite patience and worked tirelessly with us to find the room we liked. As Hilton Diamond members, we were upgraded to the junior suite, which was nice. Margarita even escorted us to our room and gave us an overview of the hotel and our room. Wow, what a start!
Breakfast buffet was really good, I thoroughly enjoy my omelets, fresh berries and freshly baked pastries. All servers were excellent and attentive.
Executive lounge was disappointing in our view, not much choice at all. We had way, way better. (In fact, for easy comparison, Hilton Southside (where we stayed for the 2nd part of our trip) had an outstanding Executive lounge with excellent plentiful hot and cold appetizers and passion fruit juice). I hope Conrad improves food at their Executive lounge; as much as we were impressed by the food at breakfast buffet, we were totally disappointed by the quality of food at the Executive lounge.
The location of the hotel is excellent - kind of in between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. It is a walking distance to so many great attractions; those attractions that are further out can easily be reached by tube - tube station is literally across from the hotel, which we found is extremely important if you are actively exploring all different parts of the city and beyond.
I celebrated my birthday while staying at the hotel and they brought me a bottle of prosecco, pastries and a hand written card - very nice gesture, which I appreciated.
Tip regarding English Traditional Afternoon tea (which is a must do experience in London) - do your research, choose your venues and book ahead, as some of the best ones are booked months(!) in advance. We selected and visited 5, which we determined were the best for us - at Savoy Hotel, at the Promenade of Dorchester hotel, at The Drawing Room of the Brown's Hotel, at the Lanesborough hotel and of course The Claridge. All with outstanding food and service, breathtakingly beautiful, opulent, cost tons of money, but so worth it - unforgettable memories.
This was our first visit to London and will not be last. I can honestly say that London has totally exceeded our expectations and amazed us in many ways and on so many levels. Go and enjoy; we definitely did!

From the moment we entered the hotel, our experience has been nothing but wonderful! We were greeted by Igor, who took our luggage and Marco (at the front desk) who took us thru the hotel and showed us where everything is located and then took us to our room where we were met by Igor who already was waiting with our luggage. The room was small but bear in mind you are in the middle of the city. However, the room had everything one could ask for. The king size bed is incredibly comfortable and the bathroom is lovely. There is a separate soaking tub and a shower that has a handheld and a rain shower. The amenities included molton brown as well as other lines. There is also a bar in the room that is filled with alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. All the water and soda is free. There is a teapot, a hairdryer and an iron as well. The TV screen is really cool as it looks like it is a smoked mirror. The only thing I could ask for is more TV channels but, again, you are in Europe and you don’t spend that much time in the hotel room. The executive lounge is lovely and it is open pretty much from 6:30 AM until 10 at night. During the day they have various offerings such as coffee and teas and nonalcoholic beverages and breakfast. . From 5:30 to 8 PM every night they have essentially a happy hour with wines and mixed drinks available along with hot and cold canapes. Everyone was so helpful. Wherever we went we were tripping over staff who could not have been more helpful and friendly

We decided to book the Conrad based on the experience we had when we stayed in the Cairo Conrad last year and weren't disappointed. We booked on line using the HH app which included on line check in and a digital key sent to my smart phone. Prior to arriving we had a message from the hotel asking our estimated time of arrival so our room could be ready for us. When we arrived no need to check in as this was already done on line so we headed straight to the room. We received a complementary upgrade from a duplex suite to one of the Deluxe suites. The suite was great, large lounge and dining room along with an extremely comfortable bed and one of the best rain showers I have experienced. We both felt very safe staying in the hotel in the middle of the covid pandemic and witnessed increased levels of cleaning in the public areas especially in the bars and dining areas when customers left and prior to the new customers arriving. There are some services not available due to covid but this didn't distract from the overall experience and we appreciated what the hotel was doing to try and provided services in a covid safe way. The executive lounge can be used for relaxing but no services are available apart from a few soft drinks. Of an evening Canapes and drinks are served in the Emmeline's Lounge and we dined a couple of times in the blue Boar bar where the food is gastro pub style and very good value for money. One thing that stands out from our stay is how friendly and polite every member of staff was, even wishing my wife a happy birthday when we went to breakfast. Hotel is located in a great area for sightseeing just a stone's throw from Westminster with Parliament and Westminster abbey one side and the other direction is St James park , Hyde park along with and Buckingham Palace and the other royal palaces. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for an extra night and we will definitely be returning again just to experience the hotel post covid when they are able to offer the full guest experience.

Made a reservation for our 10th Wedding Anniversary (6th March). The hotel definitely lives up to its 5 star status. We booked a Deluxe King room and weren't disappointed. Lovely bath and a separate walk in shower. Every toiletry including dental kit, shaving kit and mouthwash as well as usual shampoo, bath and shower gel. Buffet breakfast was great, freshly squeezed orange juice. Also complimentary fruit was delivered to our room. The next morning we noticed a bottle of champagne, strawberries and macaroons in the room, which must have been delivered the night before when we were out, which we didn't notice when we got back. I checked with reception as there was no card and as we hadn't ordered it thought it must have been delivered to the wrong room. However, I found out on checking in I happened to mention our anniversary. So, the champagne was with compliments from the hotel, a really unexpected lovely gesture. At breakfast, they brought a plate of macaroons with happy anniversary piped in cream on the plate! It isn't cheap but you wouldn't expect that for a 5 star London hotel. We noticed room service was very expensive but you could order anything throughout the night if you wanted to. Our room rate included breakfast, but breakfast was £22.00 and a la carte more expensive. The only downside was the hotel bar charged 70p for service (not even table service). A minor thing and I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly be visiting again.

I arrived the hotel reception and was greeted by the hotel staff who where so friendly and trained well.

Got to my room and that is when i was amazed by the cosy room, the TV was in a glass wall and i could mirror my phone to the Tv to watch Netflix and youtube, it has a safe code to connect for privacy.

The toilet was my favorite, the sliding wooden door makes you feel the quality materials used, the toilet is well done with a speaker in the ceiling to listen to music from your Tv. The bed was so comfortable and clean.

I had lovely stay and i will definetly revisit.

My stay here was exceptional since the time I walked up to the lobby to the time that the doorman helped me carry my bags into my ride after checking out.

I wasn't able to catch the name of the receptionist who checked me in on the 11th, but he was very professional, helpful, and gave a free upgrade to a deluxe room with Executive Lounge access.

The bed in the room is huge and comfy, and the ability to link my phone to the in-bathroom speaker was definitely a plus. The waterfall shower was nothing short of amazing.

This hotel is literally across the street from the St James tube stop, making it a perfect central location for starting/ending the day and dropping in for a quick break.

I will definitely come back in the future for my London trips. The experience I had at this hotel really made this visit memorable.

The hotel itself was nice the entrance and the hall ways are very clean and nicely decorated.
We was greeted well and the level of service was very good and what you would expect in a 5*.
Hotel does have a carpark around a 7min walk away which is next to the channel 4 building it is a very secure carpark we was told Saturdays and Sundays it is £10 per day however we were charged £35 so if your told it will be less than £35 it is wrong it’s £35 for 24 hours and then the tariff starts again. There is valet parking this is around £60 for 24hours the carpark is the same carpark they use.
The room was nice wouldn’t say amazing or anything much to write home about it was much smaller than it looked in the pictures. It looked bright and airy in the pictures it wasn’t like that in real life. On the site we booked it said city view we had a view of a building and a building site. Didn’t have time to change rooms as had to get ready to go out I’m sure they probably would of changed our room when we was out but I wouldn’t want them touching my things so we didn’t bother and just stayed in the room we was in but for a hotel of this standard that mistake shouldn’t of been made in the first place.
Breakfast was ok not great had a lot better in 4* hotels. The toast, pastries, bacon and hash browns were so hard they were inedible. I tried to call room service but there was no answer and the rest would of got cold so gave up and just didn’t eat the hard items the rest of the breakfast was very nice but this is such a waste of food they need to be more careful how they are cooking things.
When we checked out we wasn’t asked how our stay was he just took the cards back and said ok that’s done which I was taken a back a bit as I expected more and I would of then explained my issues but I thought if he can’t be bothered to ask how our stay was I couldn’t be bothered to try talking to him so I emailed the hotel instead.
We wouldn’t come back to stay there were too many things wrong I get that there is a lot of competition in London as there are hundreds of hotels but this should make them better and want to get people through their doors rather than going to a hotel down the road at the moment I wouldn’t give the hotel 5* it is definitely a 4* and there are so many true 5* hotels that we have stayed in in London so would go back to one of those instead.

The location of the hotel is perfect for all London’s attractions, most of which are with in walking distance or a few minutes bus ride away.

From check in to check out, the service was exemplary, all the staff from the doorman, house keeping, reception, and restaurants, were friendly and helpful, and certainly go the extra mile to make guests welcome and feel at home.
A special note of thanks goes to House Keeping who made sure our rooms were cleaned and refreshed to the highest standard every day over the 5 night stay.

I informed the hotel of our expected time of arrival, and everything was beautifully prepared

As Diamond Hilton Honours members we received room upgrades. Our rooms were beautifully appointed and the special touches luxury toiletries, slippers and bath robes etc. certainly made me feel very much at home and valued guests. The additional touches over the holiday period, such as the Conrad hamper, made our stay really special.

The breakfast is truly fantastic, and one of the best in London. It caters for the most fastidious tastes. With Al La Carte table service, and a serve yourself full buffet. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge is exceptional with exquisite finger sandwiches, delicious homemade cakes, scones clotted cream and strawberry jam etc., and a wide variety of teas and coffee. The evening social in the executive lounge is really great with a selection of canapés, small platters of cheeses, and charcuterie, and a wide selection of alcoholic drinks.

The Blue Boar pub has a great menu very reasonably priced and offers exceptional value, and for gastronauts with deeper pockets The Pem Restaurant with its Michelin star chef has an innovative take on British cuisine.

I must thank all the staff for making our stay so pleasurable, nothing was too much trouble for them..
As a regular visitor to the hotel usually on business it was such a joy to enjoy all the facilities the hotel offers on a a leisure break.

If you are looking for somewhere in London to celebrate a special occasion or just want to spoil yourself with a little luxury, I can highly recommend the Conrad St. James’s

We recently visited for 1 night including Champagne afternoon tea & breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and we felt safe with lots of hand sanitizer dotted around the hotel and everyone wearing face masks.

Afternoon tea was delightful and our server Luigi was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and we were surprised to hear that we could order extra if we wanted. Breakfast was also superb - we ordered the full english which was huge! And there were plenty of alternatives if you wanted a lighter meal.

Our room was spacious & clean and had everything we needed including spare toiletries. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet so we had a great night’s sleep. Staff were helpful when we asked for different pillows and also bringing our bags up to the room. And on departure they stored our luggage and arranged a taxi for us.

Overall, we had a lovely weekend at the Conrad St James and would highly recommend.

Came for a girly weekend end of July/beginning of Aug........what can I say!!!!
The hotel is everything you want it to be in a five star, the service, staff, room etc were all excellent. The food is soooo tasty, could not complain about anything.
Definitely recommend the executive lounge offer, the canapes and drinks were an excellent touch and again so tasty.
The room was so comfortable, the beds, pillows ........ oh so soft and luxurious, fabulous rain shower.
Staff let us check out late due to not being busy which was super handy to keep the room with our luggage so we could have a last trip out Sunday morning.
Everywhere was so clean and the staff all wore, masks, (didn't ask or expect us to) sanitiser everywhere and hand wipes, felt very very safe.
Would definitely come back.
Thank you for making our weekend
