This is a budget hotel. The pictures make it look nicer than it is, but it's not a flophouse either. The breakfast was decent, the service was fine, they had free internet access, and the location was outstanding. Just expect small, slightly grubby rooms, and "bathrooms" that appear to have been ripped out of an RV somewhere and plopped into...

Booked online for 2 friends and I, as they didn't accept solo cards my boyfriend gave his card details to secure the booking. When we got there we were asked to pay before we even saw the room, we were not happy but were told it was company policy so I paid with my card. After being shown 4 rooms...

We had booked three nights stay at the Airways. Arriving by air and getting to the hotel around 2:00 am, we arrived to find a pleasant and convenient area and the front and reception area looked ok. But when we arrived into our room we were shocked not at the size of the room as I have stayed in smaller...

I agree with most of what fellow travellers have written. I booked a room with a "private bathroom" for 70 pounds ..although it was less than 24 hours before i arrived. My other plans fell through. THe reception area is nice enough. Inernet access is available on one computer for one pound for 30 minutes. Another traveller mentioned something about...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
