The hotel is located on Shoreditch High Street, is off the beaten track and the area is not the most appealing. It's about a 15 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and not close to any other Underground station. There are however busses stopping outside and taxis are available. There are a few places to eat and pubs nearby.
The hotel is clean, well presented and comfortable. It is very basic, you will either love or hate the decor. Our bed was large and very comfortable. It is surprisingly quiet for its location and our room suffered from little traffic noise.
We could not fault the service! The staff were polite, friendly, attentive and professional. They were well presented and did all they could to be helpful.
The rooftop bar is a great place to have a drink, with far reaching views over the surrounding area. Again we could not fault the service. It gets busy so booking a table is a good idea.
We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. This was due in part to the cost, at £25 per person for breakfast we knew we could eat for a lot less not far away.
If we had one issue with the hotel, it would be its prices. The mini bar prices are to be honest, ridiculous! I paid less for a bottle of wine in a top London restaurant. At over £30 for two drinks at the roof top bar, it too is on the pricey side.
Overall an enjoyable stay, I would say we are unlikely to return as we have had better for far less.
Five stars if you sort your prices out. Seriously guys, £5 for a Snickers bar!!

Hi Livelane, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. I'm pleased to hear that you found our home away from home clean and well presented and that you were comfortable during your stay. I hope you were one of the ones who loved our decor! It's also great to hear, that although you did not love the area, you found the location nice and quiet and suffered little in the way of traffic noise and were able to relax. I'm also very happy to hear that you found our service to be perfect and that our family took great care of you in all areas. Thank you for your feedback regarding pricing of our food and mini bar items. I appreciate your comments, and I'm sorry that we did not meet your expectations in this area. In each room, we have a well stocked minibar, and provide a transparent menu for guests to have a look through and decide whether they wish to purchase the items or not. Unlike other hotels, we do not use sensors in the minibar, and encourage guests to pick items up and take a look before deciding to open and consume. I've passed your feedback regarding the minibar pricing over to the relevant departments so thank you for highlighting this. I would love to have a chat with you further to go through some more details from your stay and see how we might be able to turn things around. If you would kindly reach out to me directly at ryan.wiggins@onehundredshoreditch.com, I'd really appreciate it. All the best, Ryan Guest Engagement Manager

We loved our stay at this hotel. It had a great vibe. The room was spacious, clean, modern but cozy. Lots of food and drink options in the hotel and surrounding neighborhood. There was unlimited sparkling or filtered water on each floor and free coffee, tea and hot chocolate included in the room. We had breakfast every morning in the room as there was a supermarket across the street with fresh cut fruit, yogurt and oatmeal. Lots of bus options in front of the hotel which made getting around London very convenient. Express train to Standsted was also easy to get to from the hotel.

The chap who checked us in was absolutely fantastic - made us feel really welcome and used such positive language about the hotel and our room (he made it sound so perfect)
We had a studio plus room, which was clean, spacious and comfortable. The blackout blind was ideal for me as I hate any light coming through, and we were in a quiet part of the hotel which meant a good night’s sleep.

I had an amazing stay at One Hundred Shoreditch. The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly. The hotel looks amazing, with a very modern decor. The rooms are spacious and very clean. They have still and gas water available in all floors, so you can self serve it in a bottle that they leave available in all rooms. The location is also great, in the heart of Shoreditch. If I'm back to work at the same area, I won't have to think twice before deciding to stay at One Hundred Shoreditch again.

The room was very spacious, clean, super modern and fully equipped. We had a wonderful stay in this room. The only disadvantage of the room was that the window could not be opened. The windows were also blinded, so you didn't get any natural light. We were on the 5th floor.
What was also really great is that you can tap free still and sparkling water at the elevator.
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We would like to thank Mitchel in particular because every day he worked with great pleasure and a big smile. Cherish these types of people within the company because he made sure we felt welcome and that the stay was a success.
The location was great, in the middle of Shoreditch and much of it is easily accessible on foot and by public transport. Shoreditch is a very nice place if you don't like the hustle and bustle of central London.
We did not use the breakfast, the coffee corner, the gym and the Rooftop because we were only in London for a short time and wanted to discover Shoreditch.

Lovely hotel but felt was overpriced. The staff are friendly and helpful. I feel that there were somethings that let the hotel down, especially in view of the price. Dressing gowns would be a very good addition to the room. Most hotels do this. We could not open the window and staff were reluctant to unlock it so we could. We were told this was for safety reasons but the window could only open approximately 2cm when unlocked. I doubt even the smallest child could not squeeze through this opening. The bath is a waste of time and fills very slowly. The space in the bathroom would be better utilised with a walk in shower only. The bars are good but the music is far too loud and prevents proper conversation. Breakfast is is very expensive. However, the beds are super comfortable and there are carafes for water which you can refill with still or sparkling water as much as you like. I would like to meantion Giselle on reception as she was very understanding and helpful when I thought that I had lost my glasses.

I'm so pleased to hear you had an overall great stay and that our team, particularly Giselle provided a friendly and helpful service throughout. Stayed at One Hundred Shoreditch as a birthday staycation treat on a Thursday to Saturday in August.
On first arrival the hotel is clean, nicely themed, and buzzy in the lounge. Reception team were very pleasant and checked us in and signed us up to their loyalty programme. Although, not sure we'd look to use it in the future.
It's worth noting a £100 holding deposit was added at check in, £50 per night.
We had a partially accessible room on the second floor. Clean, bright room, huge bed, small closed balcony style space.
Went to turn on the TV, and whilst it came on, no pictured showed. Called down to reception, who said an engineer would be up in 10 mins. We waited 40 mins before calling again, same response, this time someone did arrive. He couldnt fix it, so returned with someone else to repair it. All in all over an hour or since the first call. This was one of three engineer call outs throughout our two night stay, and that didnt include our final check out morning, when it didnt work AGAIN but didnt have the energy to try and resolve it. Whilst a TV isn’t what everyone wants, we wanted an opportunity to rest and relax away from home and the constant call outs made this a less than restful experience.
There were a few other things which has meant that I wouldn't recommend or return to this location including the bed, it was so uncomfortable, really lumpy and well worn. Ended up in a trench in the bed I couldnt get out of, and to top it off I think the air conditioning turns off through the night, and once I'd fallen asleep I woke up sweating both nights and due to the centralised system and no real windows, couldn't cool down. I didn't complain about this as felt I'd been enough of a nuisance with the TV, but in hindsight should have so someone else doesn't get stuck with that mattress!
We visited all three bars on our visit and would recommend each, really great service and good drinks.
The service was good at this hotel and it feels as though this is what they pride themselves on but for nearly £800 for two nights, we should have been offered an alternative room for the number of times we called down. Its a shame, but wouldn't recommend.

Lovely hotel. But, I do have some notes. Room on the 6th floor, so loud music and lots of chairs being scraped across the floor from the rooftop bar above. Shower head only that looked old. No separate or detachable shower head and for a full hair wash it is preferable. Also, if you don't add breakfast at check in then you can't add breakfast. But, you can order from the a la carte (very limited) menu and pay at check out. Or whenever because they won't know yet at check out to charge you. Make it make sense. So, if you stay - and it is a nice hotel - ask for a room on the 5th floor and go to Dishoom literally one minute away for breakfast. That's the best combination, I think ☺️
P.S. The TV didn't work past the "Welcome" page and hotel info. But, that's why we have phones now.

Went on a weekend away with my 3 friends and stayed at One Hundred Shoreditch and was not disappointed! Very good location with a modern vibe inside and highly attentive staff. Loved the area in which the hotel was situated and plenty of options for eating close by. Great transport links to the high ground at Shoreditch High Street. Check in was done with ease and the room was a comfortable size for 4 people (we stayed in the double double room). Only downfall was the cold shower in the room which persisted throughout our entire stay however this was minor and in fairness, was not reported at the time. Overall, a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend.

We stayed at The Shoreditch for one night for a hospital visit for our baby. The bedroom was gorgeous and the cots were absolutely fantastic with proper mattresses which is rare in a hotel and lovely toiletries for the children. There was a lot of noise outside until early hours of the morning. The breakfast was disappointing and not worth the additional money paid for breakfast. The room rate was £625 per night including breakfast. Staff at breakfast were dismissive and not at all welcoming. Modern hotel but has some work to do on customer service. The service charge added without being warned 5% of stay was £31.25 and really not acceptable especially after pay £625 for one night and being inthe hotel less than 12 hours.

Hi Travelangel81, So pleased you and your little one had a fantastic stay with us and a comfortable night sleep. Hopefully you both slept like - well....a baby! Really sorry to hear about the noise issues during your stay, including your negative experience with our breakfast service. It's not how we roll and far from our standards. I've passed your feedback over to the relevant departments to follow up. With regards to the accommodation service charge, this is something completely discretionary, 100% of which goes towards our front and back of house teams and can be opted out of upon check out. Other than the few small issues, I do hope you had a great stay otherwise and we can see you return again soon. All the best, Ryan Guest Engagement Manager

We found it pleasant and quiet though I think the front desk staff intentionally located us away from the bar area so you may just want to ask for the same. We also did not stay on the weekend so I can’t speak for the weekend crowd
Hi Holly,
