The location is excellent which is waling distance from Oxford street, very welcoming staff and the cleanliness was also excellent. The room was spacious with great views over the front street. Shower was big enough and very clean. Breakfast was of good quality and very friendly staff, hard to fault this little hotel. Actually only downfall is no list so...

As it says in the title it is very well situated for shopping and eating out as well as sight seeing. The hotel was only small but the room was a very good size and the bathroom was well appointed. We were lucky to have a room on the ground floor so we only had to use the stairs for...

The hotel is an 8-10 minute walk from either Marble Arch or Baker St tube stations. Our room was immediately inside the front door, next to reception but we weren't disturbed by people coming and going. There was quite a lot of traffic noise though. The room and ensuite were beautifully clean, the bed was vast and there was plenty of...

The hotel is well positioned for local amenities (close to Ishtar Turkish and other good restaurants, for example) but it is a tall building with narrow steep stairs and no lift, so taking up luggage is not easy if you're in a room higher than no 6. Bathrooms are well appointed but curiously separate, accessed by a key and specific...

Paddington Station/Gloucester Place has 2 blocks of 4 story walk-up hotels on a grassy square. We loved the location. It was an easy 3 minute walk from Paddington Station and a 20 minute ride on the Heathrow Connection (half the price of the Heathrow Express). We walked to breakfast and it was a 15 minute walk to the Marble Arch...

This hotel was acceptable. I had a single room almost immediately behind reception, so didnt see much of the hotel facilities. Location was great - just a 15 minute stroll to Marble Arch and some excellent restaurants. The room was hot and not the best nights sleep as a result.

this hotel is perfectly placed for central London., you are close to everything. the room was clean although a bit small. the bed very uncomfortable so beware if you have any kind of back trouble. the worst thing about this hotel is the climb to your room. you may be lucky & get a 1st floor but we were on...

This hotel is so convenient for Oxford Street, The Wallace Collection and a 101 other attractions. It was as a previous reviewer stated immaculately clean. I wish the young man on reception had been properly trained as he didn't know where to find the paperwork. Having given me my room key I traipsed up 6 flights of stairs only to...

This hotel was a real find. It was immaculately clean, nice quiet location and brilliantly located for a shopping / museum trip. Lots of places to eat nearby, close to the end of Oxford Street - couldn't be more pleased and will use again.

I just stayed at this hotel after an evening out in London with colleagues. Check in was quick and courteous. I was place in room no.1 - this was right between the reception desk and the front door. It got a bit noisy in the morning but I was up anyway to go to work so didn't bother me too...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
