We use The Highbury Centre once a year for school admission appeal hearings and would thoroughly recommend their meeting rooms for those on a budget. We usually plumb for the inclusive rate which includes lunch, teas, coffees which is under £30 per person including room hire and limited parking. The staff are always very friendly and the food, although simple,...

If you know this is not a fancy place, you can be very happy at this simple place. I loved the included breakfasts simple, but substantial and a real cost saver. We shared a clean bathroom down the hall. It hardly ever seemed occupied so no bother. The four we got in the room saved us so much money that...

This is a great place to stay in a lovely, quiet tree lined street. The accommodation is very clean and the staff at reception are really helpful. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone staying in London on a budget, and who also doesn't mind having to travel into Central London.

Situated in a very quiet area just 5 mins on tube from central London. We have 3 children so often difficult to find suitable hotel rooms. Family room was spacious and slept all 5 of us very comfortably. Able to park car outside for free for whole trip. Centre was very clean and staff friendly. We would definitely visit again....

Great place to stay if you don't mind being a short bus ride from the centre of London. Basic but clean rooms, at a great price for this area. A Christian-run charity that serves its purpose really well.

I have been using the Highbury Centre for nearly five years, sometimes staying for up to ten days. I appreciate it for its location, friendly staff and very fair pricing. A lot of upgrading was achieved lately and prices have increased but it is still my favourite place, my almost-home in London. Love the communal breakfast tables facilitating early morning...

This unpretentious yet well-equipped guesthouse is a fantastic resource for the weary traveller in one of the world's busiest cities. The unfailingly kind and helpful staff really go the second mile for their guests ensuring that everyone feels truly welcome; they are a credit to the Christian ethos of the Centre. I hadn't stayed here since the 1980s(!), and although...

The Highbury Centre is quiet, convenient for public transport, and friendly. The cooked breakfast each day was wonderful and a good chance to speak with other guests, not as impersonal as a hotel. I stayed in a single room and it had a desk, a sink, hanging space - everything I needed. I stayed for just over 2 weeks in...

We stayed here on a Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and quite the area was, being only a few minutes walk from Canonbury station. The centre itself is used for Christian conferences and has an air of quiet contemplation - although guests of any or no faith are welcome. We had a twin room without en-suite...

We chose the Highbury because it is out of the busyness of London but within walking distance to the Highbury Islington tube and the bus stop. After a busy day of sightseeing this quiet neighborhood and friendly staff is just what we need. This is a B and B style hotel. Immaculate and fresh with lovely people to dine with...

“Depending on the purpose of your trip and your exact needs, I recommend you consider passing on the in-room bathroom facilities. The bathrooms on the floor, in the hallway, are incredibly clean and sufficient for all your needs. One is always very close to your room. You'll be pleasantly surprised.”
