Met some friends (who are members) for drinks and food. The ambience and decor were very nice-- relaxed and inviting, although the music ws too loud and annoying for a place where people might wish to have a conversation. We ordered drinks and it took FOREVER to get them. We then ordered some sandwiches and an avocado dish, which, again,...

Sunday Lunch can often be so tricky in London we often end up in Harrods food hall queueing and Rules is undoubtedly the King of Sunday lunches but can be impossible to get a reservation. Yesterday we met some friends who are blest to be members of Home House. We had the most sensational time for a 3 course set...

I have been a member of HH for years, and there is a lot good about it. Good bars, lively people, quirky premises, excellent food, and high on the "funkiness" scale. Staff are really very mixed, with some outstanding and some that need to be fired for attitude. However, this review is specifically about the hotel. I have now stayed...

I've never been a member here but have used the bar for meetings with a variety of members. They all seem very happy with the facilities and see there membership as value for money. The location's not so good for me so it's not my favourite venue but the staff are always very friendly.

I am a member of Home House. You can stay if you're not a member, but I should know the property better than others. On this occasion I was given a mews room. Generously spacious is an understatement, and the furnishings and bathroom features are always a delight. The furnishings are definitely in period, so your toilet has a wooden...

HH is class all the way. The rooms are tasteful and elegant. Historical but modern. High end and unapologetically so. Most beautiful club in London by a country mile. Managed very well. Only small critisicism is the occasional quality of the service. As a members club it feels a bit too much like you are in a hotel at times....

Most friendly and welcoming staff. Such old world charm. A pleasure and a most welcome change from the Premier Inns of this world. Hope to visit again in the not too distant future. Prices overall are competitive for this area of central London.

I have been in Home House for a private event, it was absolutely unexpected: when you arrive there (traditional british house in a residential area) there is no clue of what you could immagine inside it: different rooms with different style from the british victoria one to the modern bar, charming atmosphere, cocktails, great people. top!

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
