This was a great location for our business trip, and reasonably priced with a special spring offer. The hotel was clean and tastefully decorated. Friendly staff, excellent service. Simple but tasty continental breakfast.

The hotel is very nice, in a great location. I stayed in a deluxe room, which is spacious and quiet. The cleanliness is excellent, and the breakfast is very good. The only problem was that my room was located on the fourth floor and the elevator only went to the second floor, so I had to climb long stairs. The...

For London, our room as huge. Our deluxe double twin room was very spacious and well suited for two adults and a youngish child to sleep in one bed. We had a lovely (if somewhat noisy) view of the Natural History Museum and the walk to South Kensington underground station is only about 7- 10 minutes. The biggest drawback was...

Firstly, the location is superb. Secondly, after doing some searching I went to the hotel's own website and saw they did a special where I paid for two nights and got the third free. Thirdly, the single room was actually very small but the manager was able to move me to a larger single for the remaining two nights at...

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am glad to read that the staff here took good care of you. Our single room is the smallest room types we have but for business and one night stays in London they are in my opinion perfect. For longer stays i would recommend a double. I hope we welcome...

Hotel was very clean and surprisingly quiet. Very good location for the museums and Royal Albert Hall. Fairly close to South Kensington tube, especially if you use the museum subways. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would certainly use again and recommend to others.

Great hotel, great location and really friendly genuine staff. Perfect for a sightseeing trip to London and/or romantic break away. Great views of the National History museum and so close to two tube stations.

An absolutely wonderful stay at a lovely hotel. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and very solicitous--anything you need, and it will be taken care of immediately! The rooms were lovely, and both exceedingly clean and exceptionally comfortable. The "continental" breakfast advertised doesn't fully capture the breadth of the spread--rolls, breads, fresh fruits, boiled eggs, sliced deli meats and cheeses, and...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
