The good value of this hotel is in its location a few minutes walk from Kings Cross station. The building is a bit outdated with some wear and tear starting to be very visible. Do bear in mind that you get what you are paying for here., however Iif the aim is to have a low cost place to sleep...

We´ve stayed at this hotel a couple of times but this time the staff was not very professional, the bathroom wasn´t cleaned at all after the first night and the cleaning service itself was performed poorly.

I would never come to this place again, the bed in a twin room is so narrow that I was about to fall off everytime I am to turn during my sleep, old windows meant cold draft and an aching body in the morning.

The Hotel was worn and Tatty. The staff were helpful and efficient plus breakfast was fine with a good choice. However our room needed redecorating and net curtains also the bath light would not work independently of the room light. Shower head was loose.

Arrived at hotel and checked, given room 114. Went to room it had not been prepared, bed unmade, boxes on the floor etc. Went back to reception, given an alternative room 483. Room was adequate, we were only going to sleep init. One of the bedside lights did not have a bulb, went back to reception and asked for one....

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
