Popped in for a few sips on Thursday open mic night. Not the best open mic night ever but open mic is hit and miss anyway. Nice friendly staff and a few nice pints too! Pool table was always busy and the customers were friendly.
Not worth £53 / night, dirty ,stained carpets ,they even charge for overnight parking, stale breakfast cereal.don't stay on Friday and Saturday night because the loud music doesn't end until 2 am.hot water from the shower trickled out .
If you like watching football with the sound down whilst drinking a very average mainstream lager or bitter give it a go.
If you are expecting anything 'Maiden' other than artwork don't bother.
Friendly, drunken scousers propping up the bar was the only plus side!
