We have stayed many times at The Lilac Door and it is like a home away from home. All the rooms are very comfortable and all your needs are catered for. The breakfast is superb and far surpasses what you would expect from a B and B.

So appreciated all the little touches, Jane has thought of everything you might need for a fabulously comfortable stay. It is very evident that a great deal of thought and care has gone into every detail. The house is beautiful and impeccably clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Breakfast was fabulous and beautifully...

What a lovely B&B with a wonderful hostess. She couldn't of been more welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and very well equipped. We felt really disappointed that we weren't there long enough! We hope we can return to this gem of a B&B.

Partly because I was traveling solo, the hospitality and warmth provided by the place and especially by the innkeeper, Jane Waldegrave, meant a lot to me. My room was simply and very comfortably furnished (a fantastic bed) and...

It is not surprising that the reviews for this guest house are so good. It is accessible in that there is roadside parking. The hosts are very welcoming and efficient and the house itself is beautifully appointed. The breakfast has a wide variety of choice and there is plenty of space in the bedrooms and dining room. It is a...

The Lilac Door run by Jane Waldegrave is a sheer delight. Located near west Dulwich station (Victoria 9 minutes) it is beautifully decorated with comfortable rooms with en suites - a perfect place to stay when visiting London. The breakfasts Jane provides are superb and cater for all tastes.
