Lovely hotel, excellent value.
Great location, near tube station.
Staff wonderful, and nothing was too much trouble.
Continental breakfast v good.
I would have no problem recommending this hotel & I shall certainly return.
Thank you to all the staff.
Whether or not you'll be pleased with this hotel -- hotels in this general category -- totally depends on your expectations. For this price in London, it's fine. There are a number of well-known hotels/B&Bs on this stretch of Belgrave Rd., at a variety of...More
Very nice little hotel, located very well with a very near bus station that gives you a free sightseeing ride and a tube station next door. The staff is enormously friendly. I would recommend the Blades at any time.
Rooms are tiny, but clean. Location was great for using public transport--easy bus and tube, only a few blocks from Victoria station. Breakfast in the morning was average and nicely presented. An excellent budget stay.

Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and
some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

Many thanks for your enquiry and if you wish to come by tube, the cheapest way to travel in London is using an Oyster Card which is a contactless card that you have to tap in and off of the tube and offer you better value that the day travel card. To rent an Oyster Card, you can ask at the tube station assistance at Heathrow Terminal and there is GBP5.00 deposit which you can have back when you leave along with the residual in you card. You can just charge for pay as you go to use the capping. Capping is a feature of pay as you go which allows you to make a number of journeys in a single day but limits the amount you pay for your travel. Each time you make a journey, you are charged a fare. Once the total cost of all your fares reaches a certain amount you won't have to pay for any more journeys for the rest of the day. This is called a cap and the cost is GBP8.80 for zone 1-6 (as you are at Heathrow). From Heathrow then you can take the Piccadilly Line (blue line) and change at Green Park for the Victoria Line (light blue line) and stop at Pimlico for a journey of 40-45 mins roughly.
