We stayed at this hotel for one night only since it is close to St.Pancras Station, where we had to be at 6.30 a.m. the following morning. Our bedroom was small, well-appointed and comfortable. Since the hotel has no restaurant and we had to leave before breakfast, we cannot comment on the food provided. The staff was small, but very...

Great little bed n breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly and extremly helpful, close to ATM, Kings Cross Station, bus stops and restaurants. Only 3 bathrooms shared for entire place, but was never an issue. If you have a bedroom facing the main street it can occasionally get loud because of people walking from the bar down...

I stayed at Jesmond Dene because it was close to St. Pancras where I was arriving on an evening Eurostar. I found plenty of good reviews of the hotel online and when I contacted them via e-mail Darren responded promptly. I asked for a single superior but they were all taken but Darren gave me an apartment accommodation at a...

We selected this B&B based on fellow travellers reviews. Bit concerned with some of comments made in reviews before we left however you have to remember that this is a B&B not a 4 star hotel and as such the rooms are small however very clean and our bathroom recently updated. If you are on holidays or busness you only...

If you have minimal expectations for luxuries and plan to use your room only for sleeping, the Jesmond Dene may suit. Two blocks from King's Cross/St Pancras Station and 3 from the British Library, it's handy for travelers. Service is efficient, staff friendly, rooms tiny but clean. Most rooms have minuscule en suite shower rooms. No lift or air conditioning....

I stayed in a family room with three friends for four days. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was friendly. In addition, the location on a quiet street near King's Cross station is unbeatble for discovering London. The only problem we had was the queue for breakfast every morning. The breakfast room is very small, and due...

Unfortunately I had to cancel a booking at the Jesmond Dene Hotel - and a birthday trip to London - because of my husband's sudden illness the day before we were due to go. I can understand a small family hotel requiring more than the usual 24 hours' cancellation notice, but given the popularity of the hotel I was a...

We stayed at the Jesmond Dene Hotel for five nights in late Aug-early Sept. In an area with many small hotels (we wanted to be near St Pancras station), we chose it based on other Trip Advisor reviews and would say that the general consensus is bang on. Being a family of four, we booked the family room with one...

My husband and I stayed here for three nights on our vacation to Europe and it was a wonderful hotel! The rooms are small (which is to be expected from a European hotel) but very clean and well kept. All of the staff was very helpful and it was wonderful to have breakfast included each morning. It was conveniently located...

The hotel is located 200m from Kings Cross & St. Pancras. The room was newly renovated with new bathroom. Room was small but sufficient. Location was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and surrounding was quiet. Valet parking worked fine.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
