We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The staff was great - family run operation and they seemed genuinely concerned about our stay. There is no elevator and we had a room on the 3rd floor, which was a lot of steps. Breafast was included and was nice. The room itself was nice - large restroom and even a...

This is a great hotel. The location is in the Pimlico area - close to the tube and Victoria Station and within walking distance of major attractions. It is extremely clean and well appointed. The room I stayed in had a nice little balcony with a sliding glass door which was very pleasant . The hotel staff is soooo friendly...

The location is a great one for touring the Victoria area of London. However, the rooms -- at least the one we were in -- was very small with an absolutely tiny bathroom. Clean, though. Also, we found the breakfast mundane and bland and the breakfast room was a bit noisy on this particular occasion. After a series of countryside...

We stayed 3 nights and then decided to book another night for our return to London. The hotel is nicely located in a safe neighborhood close to Victoria Station, about a 15 minute walk. It was very clean and well maintained. We were served a hearty English breakfast each morning by Peter and Bernard who were gracious hosts. Rooms were...

Based on the previous reviews, we had our hopes up for our one night stay at this hotel. It is actually rated number 5 in London. The area was pretty good, but the hotel was average. Our room (#13) was very small but clean. The bathroom was nicely decorated, but was tiny and there was no room for your toiletries....

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for our first visit to London. We had just spent 6 days in Paris, so we were accustomed to the rather small size of European rooms. We had a very nice stay at the Luna and Simone. We took the Underground from Heathrow to Pimlico station and with a little help from...

We looked at the reviews for this hotel and booked because of them. I feel as if I was in a different hotel. The area is as described but this was the smallest room we have ever been in. I don't think you could have swung a hamster! Even the beds were tiny. No room to put your case anywhere...

I stayed at Luna & Simone for a week in August. From making the reservations, to check-in, to breakfast and check-out the staff was absolutely wonderful to deal with. When I opened the door to my single room with shower and WC I was shocked how small it was. I could barely fit my two medium sized suitcases in the...

My son and I traveled to London for the Harry Potter book release and lots of sightseeing. We enjoyed 6 evenings at the Luna Simone. Although we were unable to enjoy breakfast while there (it's rather early for us night owls), everyone we did come into contact with at the front desk was quite lovely. It has the feeling of...

We stayed here from 13-17 August and really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely helpful and their helpfulness went above and beyond the call of duty!!! Although the rooms are small, they are very clean and the hotel supply wall safes. The breakfast room is lovely and the cooked breakfasts were ample to set you up for a day's sightseening...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
