After a leaking bathroom above the hotel room we had originally booked for our overnight stay, to watch E.L.O. at the O2, left us without a room, we frantically sought an alternative and were fortunate enough to contact Mr Vincent Gerighty, the manager of the Residence, which is in a vibrant area of the city, with lots of restaurants, cafes,... I had a work meeting near Bishopsgate the next morning, so opted to stay here. Rather than a hotel, it's a series of study flats / apartments that they have turned into a hotel service. Sofa was slightly ripped and a bit dirty, wifi was terrible, shower tray didn't drain very quickly and nearly flooded the bathroom. On the plus... More

Stayed here on business for one night only (sadly). Arrived just before 9pm to find reception still manned (just). Was upgraded to room 25 one of the penthouses. The term room does not do it justice. It is a two bedroom two bathroom duplex with a fabulous living area with kitchen and a great master bedroom upstairs complete with glass... More

The reception desk says it is open from 1pm - 9pm everyday, having arrived at 3pm and finding there was no one at the desk I called the 24hr number as was told that someone would be there in 10 mins. 20 mins later and with no sign of anyone I called back to be told instantly that they had... More

We had previously stayed in Fraser Suites Sydney and were very impressed. However, Fraser Residence Bishopsgate did not live up to our expectations. It was very small, dark and right above an all day breakfast club, which was noisy at times. It had no staff except for an afternoon receptionist who seemed much more interested in watching television that interacting... More

I came late sunday evening, when the reception was closed, but the self-checkin service was fab! Although, I had to both e-mail them and call them in advance before getting my instructions, which was a bit stressful. I was afraid to turn up in London without a place to sleep! The street where the hotel is, was closed for traffic,... More

Stayed here for a few nights last week, as it's very near where I was working in Exchange Sq. I've stayed in various hotels around Liverpool St / Shoreditch / Tower Hill over the last 6 months and this really stood out as a quiet place. It's in a courtyard off a small lane opposite Liverpool St Station. Very generous... More

I stayed here on a work trip for 2 weeks in May. Despite the hussle and noise of bishopsgate, with the shops, pubs and Liverpool St station, the apartment was quiet. I had masses of space in my 1 bedroom appartment, and felt quite safe with the security features. Comfortable bed, hot shower and a full range of cable channels... More

My global travels take me to many cities, including London. I enjoy staying in Fraser properties. Fraser Bishopsgate is my choice for London because the property is within blocks of my office which is so convenient. The location is close to Liverpool station to get around London easily and Spitifields Market offers many restaurants and shopping. My planned arrival time... More

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
