Good thing about the hotel was when we arrived early before the check in time we were able to keep our bags free in the hotel and the location was good, near the tube. Rooms were dirty and didn't look anything like the pictures on the website. There was no soap and when we asked for it from the staff,...

Permanent repairs, working tools and materials are all over the hotel. Terrible condition of the room, mold on the walls. Beds are literally breaking apart, sheets were not changed for a week we were there, mattresses underneath are filthy. Extra tiny TV, I think it was 14". Tiny bathroom, actually it was a part of the room enclosed with some...

I stayed here last week with my friend and daughter. I asked if they still did a free breakfast they said no due to lack of demand even though it was advertised on the hotel door. Also there was no phone for the hotel reception which was quite frustrating just the managers mobile. Anyway we booked in for a couple...

Stayed here the night before surgery at a hospital round the corner. Dark and dingy room, with a bathroom plonked in it which just about fitted a toilet next to the bath. Taps were hanging off and no hand soap. Would highly recommend that you DO NOT stay here. Completely overpriced and nothing positive to say at all. How this...

No facilities ie no soap to wash hands in bathroom/no hairdryer/phone was not working/no drink facilities. Limescale in toilet. Asked reception for a hot drink and they said their kettle was broken even though they had a bar and restaurant on site. Poor quality furnishings. Christmas decoration taken down but left in box in reception on view in mid January....

As we wanted to check-in everything seemed to be fine. But as we looked at our room it was just horrible, the radiator wasn't working properly. So we decided to change the room. Luckily they had enough free rooms. So we changed the room, the second room seemed to be fine and it was even a bigger room option. But...

I struggled booking one of my usual central London hotels so had a look at the photos and thought I'd give this one a go...disappointed to report that the photos are nothing at all like the room that was allocated to me. I paid £122.50 for a weekday in September and expected a better standard, i won't be staying here...

I booked this hotel last minute, and it felt like the last room in London on booking.com It cost me 133.00 for one night. The room was dire. Signs of ancient black mould in the bath, damp hardboard bath sides, a door that looked like it was lined up for the axe scene in 'The Shining'. The bed: I could...

Careful when booking this one. Free wifi only exists in the lobby. The rooms need some work! Our first room had the window held in place with masking tape. It was on the first floor. Poor mattresses. No soaps shampoo etc. Ceiling peeling, carpet coming up. One towel for the whole room. Not cheap either! Never saw anyone at the...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
