The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of minutes away from Pimlico Station and at a walking distance from Victoria station as well. The rooms are comfortable enough, though small, and completely clean. There's plenty of pubs and other places to have a very good breakfast all around the place as well. I would rather avoid having...

Myself and my mother stayed here while we came over to visit Kings college. Only stayed here for one night and was perfect for us. Within walking distance to Victoria station which was great for us as we had an early flight from Gatwick the morning we left so 10 minute walk to Victoria station. It wasn't until we were...

This hotel is located in a quiet street. I had never been to London before so didn't know what to expect. Received an excellent welcome from the staff and the lady looking after the breakfast area was great. Despite being in a quite location two Underground stations were close by. Also there is a bus stop outside the hotel and...

Had a warm welcome on arrival from the receptionist- room was neat and clean I always judge a hotel by its bathroom , especially cleanliness and ours was immaculate. Yes rooms are small .shower probably should have a sliding door for easier access- but there was no mould/limescale anywhere in the bathroom impressive for a budget hotel Breakfast was really...

Stayed here at the end of November, we experienced a very warm friendly welcome. Rooms small but we knew this when booking so not a problem, only used as a bed anyway so worked well. Breakfast choice very good, i dont understand the reviews that say otherwise! Two tube stations close, we chose to walk most places though. Would definitely...

This hotel is situated in a great location with easy access to both Victoria and Pimlico stations. Fantastic value for money compared to similar hotels. The bedrooms are small and the breakfast adequate, however it was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the walls are paper thin so unless you bring...

If you're looking to check out London on the cheap, you can't do much better than the Lidos Hotel. I emphasize "on the cheap". The hotel is excellently located, a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station. In fact, if you're willing to walk two or three miles, you can walk most of the best attractions in London. Rooms are inexpensive,...

This hotel is in a great location...within a few minutes walk of both the Pimlico and Victoria underground stations. Walked to Big Ben within 30 minutes. The room was small, but the description online stated so. 24 hour desk. Continental breakfast from 7-9am...I arrived exactly at 7am one morning and it was all set up and ready. Room was clean,...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
