Great location only 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station with plenty of eating options close by. Nothing does it's job very well, rooms are a good size for a London hotel though typically the lift is pretty small. Always clean and tidy, staff excellent and breakfast was great. Would recommend.

Visited there with my family of 4 during the end of August. The hotel is located in a neighborhood of row houses turned into apartments and hotels. We had a family room with a full size bed and 2 twin beds, it had a beautiful balcony facing the street. it was tight but it was fine and it had high...

The Athena was well-located and a good value in an expensive city. Just two blocks from Paddington Station and 10 minutes from Hyde Park. It's far from fancy, but what do you expect? The Four Seasons? I do wish they would get new mattresses, though.

I was nervous about staying at the Athena based on other traveler reviews. After staying here for a week, I'm confused...did these people stay at the Athena? Are they used to a Ritz experience? I've stayed in all types of hotels and the Athena was a perfectly decent, if not wonderful, very affordable hub for our weeklong adventure in central...

The hotel is clean, breakfast is just ok and people very very kind. I would stay there again and again. I have red some really bad reviews about the hotel but I have decided to stay there because of the price and location, and we liked it. We like specially the bathroom, the silence during the night, the kindness of...

The location was great but the room was tiny and the shower was tinier. I could feel all the springs about to pop through, which made sleeping very difficult. The man at the front desk spent more than half an hour trying to connect me to the hotel wi fi, but never succeeded. The breakfast was tolerable. For one night,...

Traveled as a couple and stayed here in the first week of February. Great location about 5 minutes walk fro Paddington underground and the main train station. A lot of cafe/diner types of eatery's in the area. There Athena is a nice clean hotel and they offer a full English breakfast. The room was clean with a TV, kettle, cups...

Very clean, all staff were friendly. More was very suitable (1 night stay) short walk to Hyde Park for WinterWonderland, round the corner from Paddington station. Shame we only walked that way on leaving - as many restaurants and bars. Would definitely return. Thank you for being so welcoming.

Stayed here for a week in October in room #13. Everything was fine overall during our stay. Unfortunately, my family of 4 all developed scabies (which is caused by mites burrowing into your skin causing very itchy bite-looking spots) from our stay there. I emailed the hotel twice about this, and no one replied to me. Very disappointed.
