The New Dome provided a safe, clean and friendly location for a recent trip to Brixton. The room was clean, although a bit hot and stuffy. It's perfect if you just need a safe place to get your head down. No tube station nearby, so make sure you have an oyster card for the bus (if not, a cab cost...

Yes its an old place, the area isn't the best in town and yes it could do with a revamp BUT, what you get here is great, friendly and helpful staff, VERY clean rooms and an ultra-well connected hotel, in terms of public transport. As well as that, the eating facilities and options in the vicinity are awesome and very...

The room was bit shabby but clean and quite comfortable. The street outside is loud, but not unbearably so. If you're travelling on a budget and intend to spend most of your time sightseeing and enjoying the city, it's not a bad choice. There's a bus stop right across the street and a number of shops and pubs in the...

I know, I booked a budget room & really shouldn't have! The tiny room itself was clean but so noisy & sweltering. Even with the window open it was a sweat box. £10 deposit for the TV remote & hair dryers are not in the room, you have to ask for it at reception. Very friendly staff & helped with...

Sirens all night. It's not that safe an area but you can park opposite on street after 6 or 8 from Friday night to first thing Monday morning. Room was clean enough. They don't take card payment without photo id. I advise paying cash but there is a 2.00 charge using their cashpoint directly outside. Again the noise just resonates...

This place was of poor standard, I didn't expect much as the room was only £65 for 1 night but I didn't expect problems like the TV not working and some of the lights didn't work. I could look over these problems but then I discovered mouse traps under the bed and when I asked why these were there the...

I have stayed in this hotel for a week. I did not like very much: the walls were thin, the rooms very small, and the cleaner woke us up very early in the morning, but the staff was very friendly and the breakfast pretty good. The prices weren't high, so I think that the quality/price ratio was good

Five intrepid ladies and one brilliant opportunity; complete The MoonWalk London, with WalktheWalk, uniting against breast cancer. All we needed was a basic double and triple room somewhere nearish to Clapham Common The welcome was fine, if you ignored the slightly disconcerting sight of an elderly gentleman asleep in the reception. The guy on reception explained that we had to...

I stayed in this hotel 4 nights and it was really nice. The personal was very helpfull. If you need a hotel not far away from the center and not to much expensive, I can recommend. Just the walls are to slim, I can hear everything.

We booked a triple room (£75) for one night for a short trip taking in a gig at Brixton Academy. Check in was minimal fuss and the room was absolutely fine. Two king size beds that were comfortable enough, the bathroom was fine, and the room had all the facilities you would expect to find in a chain hotel. Brixton...
