A minutes walk from the best food market in London, Borough Market, it is exceptional! very close to Tate Modern , OXO Tower, with one of the best cocktail bars with a view, in London. all in all, fabulous. Susie from backwell, North Somerset.

Thanks again for this nice accomodation in London. This is the second time that I come and I'll come again. The hotel is simple but with all things that I need. Lovely ladies at the reception, very good breakfast and fantastic location in front of the river. Thanks

Stayed on business and found the place very easy to walk from London Bridge underground. Set in prime location to the Thames by London Bridge. Just out from the premier inn to the left is the Thames and continue to walk down the river front is restraints and theatre, again prime location for theatre goes. The room has recently been...

The hotel location is very good, close to London Bridge tube station and also benefits from nearby restaurants and pubs. The room was spacious with all the necessary facilities expected, kept very clean and tidy. The staff was very nice and efficient, keen to help. Overall it was a very good for money and I will surely stay in again.

Stayed at this London Prem Inn on Sunday night and got a very good deal on price, especially for LDN. As always, clean comfy room, standard layout. View wasn't anything special but who cares, it wasn't looking at the bins and we were out more than in. Bathroom looked like it had never been used before. Didn't eat in at...

We only stayed one night but will definitely return. The rooms were clean and as expected. We had our daughter with us (12) and I thought the room might be crowded but it was fine. Breakfast was good too. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Parking was really easy as it is free at weekends which is great if...

This hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of Borough Market, the Tate Gallery and the London Bridge tube stop. The hotel is very clean, recently (and currently being) renovated, quiet and lovely. The current renovating was not an issue. The bathroom included a great tub which was used to soak tired feet after a long day...

Great location, close to tube station, decent adjacent bar. Lots in local vicinity, food, drinks and shopping. Borough Market is a must. Good breakfast, although up stairs, not sure if suitable for wheelchairs, they might have lift. Cracking spot.

We stayed here on a Saturday night. Got there just after 11 and we had to wait about 10 minutes to get the rooms which was great. The lady on reception was hilarious. Really friendly and chatty. The rooms are well sized with the TV being very good indeed ! The only negative was the lack of a fridge in...

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
