We spent a nice holiday in Chamberlain Hotel. Very comfortable rooms, nice staff, good breakfast. The location was great, so close to Tower Bridge, to Tower Hill metro station and 15 minutes walk to Liverpool St.. I will recomment it!

We love staying at this hotel. It is about 20 minutes from the O2 and a similar time from the west end. All of the staff are amazingly friendly. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff are amazingly friendly. The food is good and did I mention that the staff are amazingly friendly!

Very good hotel and room in a very good location! Bed slept good. Free coffee and tea in the room and every day a free news paper! Nice service. The warm water in the shower was just not hot enough for us.

Dear cornelism2017, I'm sorry to read that the water temperature did not reach a level that was hot enough to enjoy. I will try and locate your reservation so that our maintenance team can look into this. Having said that it is nice to see that the room and bed were well received, as well as some little extras that...

A great hotel with excellent facilities and service. The staff were always on hand to help and the bar was a great place to drink and watch the world go by. A good choice of breakfast and room service.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Chamberlain, would definitely re-visit and recommend. We were given a surprise upgrade to a room with a roof terrace which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is central to a tube station which was very handy

My husband, my daughter and myself stayed at The Chamberlain while there was no water or heating at home due to plumbing work. I chose this hotel because the location is convenient for our work and school/nursery. On both evenings our babysitter looked after our daughter until my husband and I got back, and staff were very understanding about this...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
