I would say you get what you pay for, but you never pay for bed bugs. Within an hour of checkin in, we were already looking for vacancies at other hotels. We chose this hotel for the price and even emailed the hotel in advance slightly concerned about the mixed reviews. Our first room was stuffy and up in a...

Pre booked at the last minute online and paid for in advance otherwise we would have walked away. Very small basement bedroom in which they had jammed a third bed. Bathroom tiny but clean. No toiletries supplied other than a shampoo dispenser. Hair dryer did not work. Food/drink stains on a wall. Carpet need cleaning. Shabby looking reception, threadbare carpets...

We stayed for 7 nights in April, when the weather was a bit cool but not downright cold. The room had no heating. So thankfully in April it was alright but we cannot imagine how it works in winter. Our room was small but clean. The walls are thin and you can hear everything from the neighbours. The location is...

Checked into our room and discovered that it was not made up. Came back in the evening and nothing had been done - except that our towels were changed. To top it off there was a bucket of (hold your nose) vomit between the beds! Staff was unhelpful and didn't seem surprised at our findings. There was rubbish in the...

I have stayed at approximately 70 hotels in my lifetime, and this was by far the worst experience. And then I am including a hotel where I couldn't get a hold of the receptionist and had to wait outside late at night for ages before I was let in, just to find that the entire room was covered in mould....

Scanning though the reviews we became slightly concerned about staying at this hotel. The location was great and the price was reasonable as we just needed somewhere to put our heads down for the night. Ok it's not the ritz and yes some of the other reviews certainly were correct like the musty smell, worn carpets and bathrooms are not...

Stayed here recently after a show in Camden town. Had to be up early to catch the train back home so needed somewhere within stone throw of paddington station. All you need is a bed/shower and for the time spent in the hotel you get what you pay for, it is a cheaper option, but for a few days you...

Some of the reviews for this place are comical, and some verging on actually being offensive. The review, I believe, should reflect the price. We paid £69 to stay here, which for central London is very, very cheap. I have stayed in very similar places in London (Travelodge!) with similar levels of quality for over £150. So with this in...

Clean and good location right next to station. Very small room with little space for luggage and shower temp was terrible... But then again you got what you paid for and was happy for the amount we paid.

This was the worst place I have ever been...couldn't call it a hotel by any means! Hostel maybe but it was filthy, cold, unwelcoming and just so depressing. On arrival around 10 pm, there was a casually dressed guy outside smoking - turned out he was the receptionist. Came inside and then had to call someone on his mobile as...
