The hotel was not what I was expecting it was disgusting. I firstly couldn't get in the room. Then there was mould in windows there was a horrible smell in bathroom and shower was not really working. Didn't sleep well as the mattress was all lumpy and breakfast was just toast and cereal. It was not value for money only...

The Tudor inn hotel This hotel is in a good location from Victoria train station and Victoria tube. Hotel clean and basic, room is small and has what you need. Bed was comfortable, only thing was we was on the ground floor and next to the hotel entrance. Which was noise due to traffic as it's a busy street at...

Please read the reviews before you book here. I wish I did before hand. AWFUL!!! Day time host the most rudest person ever! Evening host was the best part about this place. Bedrooms not what they advertise on booking websites.

If I could rate this hotel at 0 stars then I would do! Service was atrocious greeted by a rude man on desk very argumentative and unhelpful. Key for room felt like something from the pound shop and lock of the same caliber. Room was in very bad state of disrepair and looked nothing like the photos advertised when booking....

Used this for a one night stay, was clean and very well located. Staff seemed friendly, but room was rather small, good for one or two people that are only using for a place to rest and sleep. The ideal place for a tourist who wants to be located central.

After reading some of the other reviews I was a bit concerned but this place was fine. That's to say I stayed in the Tudor Inn Hotel not over the road ( maybe they are different ?) Ok what this place is not is big on space . Not sure what the double rooms are like but the single ones...

We picked this hotel for the location. The room was modern and looked like the pictures. The bathroom was small but very nice and the shower was perfect after a long day of touring. The large rain fall shower head washed the day away. That being said.....there was a lot of long black hairs and clumps of hair everywhere in...

I would like to highlight the fact that the condition of the room was very very bad. Floors were dirty and not been hoovered for ages. Another annoying fact is that the breakfast consisted in toast bread and cereals with milk. When I asked whether I can get eggs, mushrooms, etc. I was instructed there aren't any. Sadly the only...

Hubby booked this purely for location purposes, but after reading reviews I was ready to cancel and book somewhere else! However we didn't and it was MUCH better than expected! We stayed in the Tudor inn (which I assume is different from across the road) the room was compact but perfectly adequate. It was clean (apart from skirting boards, if...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

“The rooms we had were TINY. In one you had to climb over the bed to reach the hanging cupboard which was not big enough to take a dress or full length coat. The shower is also TINY - anyone overweight would have trouble turning round in it. However, the shower itself was good.”
