We needed somewhere quick and easy to stay close to Victoria coach station after a flight from Beijing and found Blair Victoria. It was a lot cheaper than everywhere else in the area, if you are after something fancier there are some lovely hotels near by. Pro's Great location: very close to Victoria station and lots of lovely shops and...

We went as it was really near to the theatre, and it was my birthday treat to go see Wicked, so I was really excited. My first impression when we walked into the reception was a little disappointed, as the sofas looked dog-eaten, but I thought I mustn't judge til I saw our room. The only good thing that I...

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends on a trip to the theatre. The rooms were clean, but not secure. The bathrooms were inadequate. Unable to get to breakfast due to the volume of people staying. The rooms on the top floor and the basement do not have a fire escape. There were strange men in the corridors at...

The Worst I've ever stayed. A park bench would be cleaner. Toilet seat falling off, NO hot water even after running for 20 minutes. Shower curtain hanging off. Dread to think what was on the bed sheet. Don't know when it was last cleaned. Kettle filthy and lipstick marks on cups.

When we approached the hotel, first impressions were poor. The place could definetely do with a lick of paint. Upon entering our room, straight away we were disgusted. There were black markings up the wall and damp eating away at the wood work. We had a dirty net curtain in the window over looking a shabby area. We were literally...

I stayed here with my niece and 6 of her friends. I complained about the following to the manager and he was rude and argumentative. The electrics were unsafe - one visble socket for a small room with three single beds. The kettle had to be plugged into an extension lead across the top of my bed. There was no...

My daughter and I booked in this hotel as we were visiting London for my birthday for a theatre trip. Tudor Inn sounds lovely doesn't it - don't be fooled! We were a bit dubious when we saw the outside but thought it may be better inside. The proprietor was friendly enough and even gave us a map to show...

I honestly don't know how this place hasn't been closed down!?, myself and my friend refused to stay here during our 2 night stay in London. we had to look for a different hotel after seeing the room we were supposed to stay in. Ripped carpet, filthy mis-matched bedding, stained cracked walls, vacuum cleaner outside room door, rubbish bags outside...

I stayed at The Blair Victoria & Tudor Inn on the 28th and 29th of April 2012 and did stay here in order to attend the Royal Wedding celebrations with my son. The room was not really what I expected as the bed covers looked dirty as if never washed. The curtains were the same. the Bathroom light flickered on...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
