Chose this Hotel as it was near the Theatres. Read the reviews, but was suprised that the hotel was better than we expected. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a excellent breakfast. We would stay there again.

I booked here before reading the reviews on here. I thought I had made a huge mistake as I was travelling alone with a Special Needs child, wasted my time because it was pretty fab. Was given a ground floor room on arrival which was perfect. The only negative was my daughter could hear people passing the door but it...

The guy on reception is very pleasant. After which it all falls to pieces. Our room, with two single beds in it was tiny. Our room was very dirty with a mouse trap under the washbasin, no mouse happily! The beds remained unmade and no cleaning of the bedroom area was attempted, I did both myself. The basement, where breakfast...

There is really not much to say about this hotel , I think the title describe it all , from being extremely dirty , really bad customer service , you are lucky if they even bother to say the word "Hello" this hotel could have been a great potential , but the owner simply doesn't give a da$$ , and...

After reading reviews before staying at Arran House Hotel, I was very nervous. On arrival the staff was lovely and very helpful. We stayed in a family room (one double bed, two singles with an en suite). It was spacious and the beds was very comfy, the en suite was clean and had the basics - toilet, sink & shower...

The building is pleasant, with a fine selection of framed playbills on the staircase walls. My single en suite room was comfortable enough, but single-glazed and subject to noise from Gower Street traffic through the night. The bathroom was rather cramped, but the worst feature was that it was impossible to set the shower to a comfortable temperature. It was...

After reading the reviews on here I was very nervous about staying at Arran House Hotel. Stayed here for 2 night with my Mum in a twin room (no en-suite). When we arrived the man on the desk was very friendly and helpful giving us lots of information and also took our luggage up to our room for us. The...

This hotel has mice. Mice! One visited our room in the night, chewed its way through a rucksack pocket to get at some food we had forgotten about and scurried about the floor. The en suite bathroom is tiny, with a very impractical shelf above the tiny sink so that it's almost impossible to clean your teeth with out banging your...

Cheap but not cheerful, clean bed but that's all that was good about this hotel. En suite rooms was a joke, a cupboard with a caravan portar loo and shower in it but no light and the smell of sewage coming up through the sink. How this has three and a half stars from trip advisor is a mystery.

Oh my goodness. Although the staff were friendly and helpful and the room very cheap with a free breakfast, please check the photos below. We managed to laugh ourselves to sleep after the disbelief of what we experienced. Very shoddy With a mouse bait box next to the double bed - not ideal. Very deceiving as the hotel looks lovely...
