Stayed here with my boyfriend as we were visiting London as a treat for his 30th birthday. We knew it was a budget hotel so were expecting it to be basic. The room was just that. We were on the 2nd floor and the room was absolutely roasting! So much so that we slept with the window open all night... More

Converted Georgian townhouses. Great location near paddington station. However No elevator. Steep winding stairs to rooms. Had single room. Nice view onto garden square. But that was it. Noisy slamming doors all night thin walls. Total lack of consideration by other gusts at all hours. Bathroom ridiculous. Had to squeeze sideways to get into shower past sink which took up... More

Tiny room on the 4th floor, no plug in the basin, took 2 days to say they couldn't fix, toilet paper like tissue, large folk would not make it through to the shower. The two twin beds were a joke. I am slim and could only just get round. Young staff but very poor management. I would never return. I... More

Very simple small rooms, friendly staff, reception 24 hours service, from 7.30 standard breakfast. Small bath, balance price and service is ok. Shops and restaurants are close around, not noisy at night.

stayed here for one night, we were going to the opera and needed to stay in London for ease of access, I really wish we hadn't, of the 4 members of staff we met only one was cordial, the rest were downright rude. we had one hour to shower and dress before going to the theatre, unfortunately the shower wouldn't... Really Enjoyed my stay here, The reception was 24/7 and they were very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to store our bags at the hotel on check out day. The room was nice and clean - looks like they had done it up a little. The complaints others have made about the size are why I dont give this a... More

We we're put on the 4th floor which is 8 flights up narrow stairs and no lift or help with cases. Moved to the first floor which was very noisy due to the thin walls which ment you could hear every thing from the surrounding rooms, the rooms had laminate floors which were badly fitted and creaked all night, you... Had lovely service when arrived and all the staff we dealt with were very polite. Room was down a short stairs in the basement, very clean and tidy and the shower was good too. If I have any bad points, it would be that the room was very very warm. But definitely served its purpose and will return in future.
