Good location at very reasonable price. Took 2 grandchildren to London for their first visit to the capital. Booked family room and, although, a bit tight for room, a very attractive price, as it includes free breakfast for the kids. Staff excellent, Near Earls Court underground, Natural History & Science Museums (walking distance). Kids free on buses and underground, so...

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was varied. I asked for soya milk porridge and it was lovely. My husband and I stayed one night and it was peaceful and quiet here. Very handy for the tube station and plenty of options for eating out nearby.

Although all Premier Inns are very similar this stands out in part due to the staff. Everyone we encountered was polite, helpful, efficient, and friendly and they really did make our stay feel special. It's possible to drop your luggage off to be stored if you arrive before the 2pm check-in time, which is handy, and there's no charge; all...

Was here for one night for a midweek overnight stay. This hotel is located only a 5 minute walk away from Earls Court Underground station and is situated in a nice area of London. The reception area looked like your usual Premier Inn and was clean and inviting. After checking in, I realised my room was located on the 6th...

This is a nice friendly fairly basic hotel in a great location. Two minute walk from Earl's Court tube, handy walk to Science museum, natural history museum and Kensington Gardens. Air-conditioning in the room was great. WiFi kept dropping and wasn't great. Very clean and quiet, good value breakfast

Excellent location. Near tube and excellent restaurants and pubs. Great staff, friendly and very helpful. Comfortable room with great comforter. After a busy day, it was so easy to fall asleep in the great bed. I really wanted to take the comforter home. Our only complaint was that the bathtub had extremely high sides and no grab bars, which made...

We stayed here for 1 night – midweek, whilst visiting the Royal Albert Hall for a concert. The distance between the two is not great and only took 20/25 minutes to walk. Booking in was simple and conducted on their automated machines in the foyer – keys cards & our receipt were produced and we took the lift to our...

Situated a few minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. Typical Premier Inn which always supplies a spotlessly clean room and bed. It is fairly basic however. Some rooms are directly above an open section of the Underground and there is a constant 'clacketty clack' of trains all the time so not very peaceful. Room rates vary considerably - over...

No frills, just great accommodation, good basic food, very clean rooms and the best night's sleep away from home we ever get! Staff are friendly and helpful if required. For a city break Premier Inns are our first choice every time.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
