I stayed at the Premier Inn in Earl's Court in November while attending event at the nearby Marriott. There are many hotels and guest houses in this area but the quality can be very variable, especially at the budget end of things. I hadn't stayed in a Premier Inn before but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the... More

A return visit to this hotel and just as good the 2nd time around. You won't find a better value budget hotel in central London. Excellent buffet breakfast. Only slight downside is it's not a quiet hotel due to the noise from the underground trains starting early morning about 6am but you probably get used to this.

The hotel is in a great location in Earl's Court: near the Tube, near plenty of pubs and restaurants, and close enough to walk to major attractions (V&A, Natural History Museum, Harrod's, even Buckingham Palace). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable and quiet. There are minimal amenities (eg, no toiletries; instead, a soap dispenser by... More

Great Location, near tube, pubs and restaurants, very nice area of London. Bed room was not what we booked, we booked a Twin room but we were given a Family room with one very large double bed and one "camp" bed

We booked a two night stay last weekend and we checked in early Thursday afternoon, we were allocated a room on the 4th floor which was spacious and comfortable. The downside, the room was located on top of the railway line which was noisy and unacceptable we didn't even bother to unpack our bags we immediately requested a quieter room... More

Stayed here last night, enjoying a weekend in London and a concert at the Albert Hall. Greeted by excellent, friendly and helpful reception staff - in particular a young lady called Tais. The room was as it should be, clean with everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. We were on floor five at the front of the hotel... More

I had about 4hrs sleep because my room, 209, was overlooking the overland underground line. Forget counting sheep the rumbling every 2mins scared them away. Also after tossing a coin for the nice comfortable double bed I lost to my friend and ended up on the childs bed next to the window. Very annoyed has I had booked a twin.... More

Great friendly staff who definitely go the extra mile. 5 minutes walk from Earls Court so would recommend if you are attending an exhibition or trade event. Only downsides are the noise from the underground and heavy goods vehicles. Also the layout is slightly annoying as you have to walk over a very cold connecting corridor to get to most... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
