Upon arrival, from the outside the hotel looks nice. However, inside it is dated and, in my experience of the room I had, needs some urgent renovation. In addition, here are some issues I had: Booked double room and got a twin room - even though hotel was not full, however they would not, or no offer to move me. No hot food is available for breakfast. Only ceral, toast and jams. No privacy in room without curtains drawn as there were not nets, so open views both ways, and the windows were also filthy and hadn't been cleaned in ages. Toilet broken. Bath chipped. No free WiFi - unusually in today's world. Being a disabled room the bathroom sink was 27 inches off the floor, great for wheel chair users, not me at 6ft 3in! The tube line goes directly under the room, approx 25 feet below, you can watch it out of one bedroom window and reappear out the other!! Very noisy and run from 5.30am until 12.00am.

We had a great stay here. Perfect base for our short London break. All areas were clean, warm and comfortable especially the beds and hot shower and surisingky quiet for central London. All staff were friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Andrew, Dev and Milly.

Excellent hotel and location, we made use of the left luggage storage as we had a later train, and we had no issues! Perfect location for the underground station so we could get all over the city easily. We will definitely be returning for another trip to London!

For the money there isn’t much to touch this hotel given the location. The rooms are pretty basic and functional, but you would be paying 2-3 times more for something a bit more stylish- perfect for 1 or 2 night stay near kings Cross. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff, every single person was genuinely friendly helpful and pleased to help us. Special recognition goes to Jackie on the front desk who was efficient and extremely welcoming and she really made our stay special.

We chose this hotel for its location and reasonable price. The train strike meant we had to be on London the night before our Eurostar departure. We were extremely pleased with our decision: easy to find, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. kettle and tea bags! We made the most of being in London to go to a concert and enjoyed our 40 minute walk to and from the Wigmore Hall. We might choose to do this again rather than having to get up so early at home on the day of departure.

Excellent location, two minutes from Kings Cross , really easy for underground, which we used to get all over London without any problem. Plenty of food outlets on the doorstep , highly recommend The Rocket pub, where we watched the footie, 2 for 1 pizza deal on Tuesdays , absolutely delicious. Room on 2nd floor, really clean and comfortable, everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Lovely hot, powerful shower, very comfy bed, clean fresh towels, plenty of tea & coffee, TV, which worked well. Staff on reception were super friendly and efficient, big thank you to Andrew and his team. We will definitely stay again on our next trip

Clean, convenient location at a good price. Excellent service throughout. Emily was really helpful on check out and I was able to leave my bag on site after I had checked out for a couple of hours before my departure home. Made all the difference

Absolutely amazing hotel, very central and convenient for sightseeing in London. Staff were very polite and helpful, great with the kids too. Convenient that we could leave our before and after check in, which made it easy travelling with kids and sightseeing. Andrew and Millie need a massive shout out, they both went above and beyond to make our stay brilliant. We stayed in a family room, lovely and clean and shower was great too. Would definitely recommend this hotel, 10/10 all day long.
