We stayed 6 nights at this lovely B&B home of David and Mary. The room was so homey , the beds so cosy and warm . The huge English breakfast gave us energy to go through the day .. Lovely breakfast room with a lovely view into an English garden . David and Mary are very warm-hearted and full of... More

The proprietors, Mary and david, are exceedingly nice people and I have felt at home immediately after my arrival. They have a very nice traditional English house (but the heating is working fine). Their position in Balham is in walking distance from two Underground stations and the real English breakfast with homemade marmelade is a real treat. Highly recommendable.

David amnd Mary are wonderful hosts, and were partoícularly helpful when we had a problem with car keys that took a few days to solve. We stayed here with our charming hosts Mary and David on 3 different occasions in July. Each time we enjoyed their warm and generous hospitality, the lovely views over the treetops from our quiet, comfortable double room and the delicious breakfasts. This B and B is located on a residential tree-lined road. It is within easy walking distance to two... More

108 Streathbourne Road was a truly lovely part of our recent visit to London, surpassing all expectations. Mary and David are magnificent hosts. We felt like we were staying with old friends. The home is located on a quiet, leafy street just steps from Tooting Bec Common, a lovely park. The house itself is elegant and our room (a double)... More

We feel so fortunate that we found this Bed and Breakfast just outside of London. We were concerned that we might feel far from the city center, but it was easy to get around on public transportation to all parts of the city. It was a nice quiet place to relax after running around London all day. Mary and David... More

Wonderful stay, like visiting ones (kinder) relatives :-) My Husband, myself and my mother stayed with David and Mary in May. They were the most accommodating hosts and made themselves available to help with whatever was needed. We had two very nice rooms with own bathrooms. It felt like the quintessential British household experience; the china used at breakfast, the... More

Terrific value in a wonderfully elegant and cozy home. This B&B is located on a quiet, tree-lined street, with a great park nearby. David and Mary were lovely and provided some great sightseeing and dining tips. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We have felt with Mary and David from the first moment at home. We were received very warmly. We (my husband, our son and I) had the rooms completely on top in the house, the penthouse, so to speak, consisting of a double room and a single room (on the half floor under it) and a bathroom with tub, completely...
