welcoming hosts, comfortable bedroom and delicious breakfast have stayed there three times and will be visiting again in 2010. Very convenient for accessing central London and attractions and places of interest in the west. Parking available outside the house, free at weekends but on a meter charge during the week. Very quiet location but close to all amenities and a...

We've visited London a few times and have always stayed in B&B's in the central areas. Although fairly expensive, we have found them generally to be not especially clean or comfortable, so we decided to try to find accommodations a bit further out this time. 108 Streathbourne is a beautiful, tastefully furnished 1880's row house with 2 very nice ensuite...

We are still smiling after returning home from a fantastic stay at a delightful Bed & Breakfast in London at 108 Streathbourne Road. Our host's Mary & David Hodges were most gracious and attentive to our every need. We found the accommodation very comfortable and well located being close to the tube station plus bus stops to Central London. Very...

I have recently moved to the U.K. so on arrival I decided to stay four nights at a B&B to find my bearings. I could not have chosen a better place to stay for a number of reasons. Mary and David were extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction. The house very clean and the room I was...

This is the second time we have visited David and Mary's lovely B&B at 108 Streathbourne Road, Balham, London and it is only the second time I have ever written a review for Tripadvisor. We drove from Scotland and as I knew we would arrive after 7pm, tired and not feeling like going out for a meal, I asked Mary...

Our recent stay at 108 Streathbourne Road was absolutely excellent and was the best B&B/hotel stay I've experienced in London. We were close enough to get to the attractions and destinations we wanted to go to, but were far enough out to enjoy a quiet and relaxing stay in London. The B&B is just 3 blocks off of the Balham...

I have stayed with Mary & David several times over the last 3 years when I have come to visit my family in Balham. Each time it seems better than the previous time, and we have become good friends which makes my visits even more enjoyable. Mary always puts fresh flowers in my bedroom, David delivers the morning paper with...

David and Mary are very attentive hosts, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. David is a dab hand with directions and advice on good places to eat. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Mary's cooked breakfast is superb and we recommend you try her home made...

If you're looking to stay outside the hustle and bustle of central London but still want to easily reach it, this is a great choice. It's about 20-30 minutes by tube to central london. Nearby (5-10 minute walk) are many good restaurants and pubs to choose from as well as cafes's, groceries, and even some pretty hip shopping. We were...

A well run, clean, comfortable place with excellent hosts, David and Mary. It is a fairly short walk to the tube and not too far out of London. There is a variety of good restaurants in the nearby High street. We had the front room with ensuite.
