Charlotte was extremely helpful in accommodating us just after the CV-19 lockdown so we could attend our daughters wedding in Chelsea. The rooms are very comfortable with quiet air con, very clean with a great shower. The area is in a dead end road with no traffic noise, we slept like logs!!! Nice kitchen area with everything you need. Lots of sanitizer on entre to B&B and in the room and loads of useful information. The location is excellent only 100 yards from Fulham Broadway with shops and restaurants. We dined at the Spanish Tapas 'El Metro' and can recommend this with friendly staff (especially the owner) and very reasonable prices. The lady, Sigita, who lives on site and maintains the rooms was lovely and also very helpful with extra towels. Would definitely recommend Barclay House. Thanks for making our weekend

Our first post-lockdown guests were so lucky to make it to the long-planned wedding of their daughter; we were glad to host you and thank you for cooperating with our new, on arrival disinfecting procedures which incorporate both Hilton’s 10-touch points Safe-Clean as well as TripAdvisor’s check list. We hope to host you and your friend’s again.

My baby daughter and I stayed here for 5 days and absolutely loved it!
First of all, Charlotte, host of this B&B, is a lovely, service focused, gave good recommendations and proactive host. Extremely helpful!

The room(s) and bathroom(s) are clean, modern, beds super comfortable, silent area despite being just next to Fulham Broadway and she provide all kind of practical things you can borrow : umbrella, cloth-brush, extra chair, robe, she got me extra bags so I could get rid of diapers in the bin outdoor right away, fully equipped kitchen. As a person with long hair, I’m thankful for the conditioner provided :)

I really appreciated that despite I was the only guest for a few days, breakfast was provided in full. Extra star for being so sweet and getting a cake so I could enjoy a bit of afternoon tea :) Good coffee, plenty of teas, cookies etc.

Thank you Charlotte for a fabulous time - Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful and quiet baby-what a bundle of joy! C was so organised and easy going—so glad we could provide everything you needed, and more. Glad you liked the ginger cake! You said you’d be returning, so we are looking forward to your next visit. We’ll have to play the piano for the baby !

Thanks to COVID, our trip was two years in the making. Charlotte was more than willing to work with my wife and me as we rescheduled the stay twice. She was there for us when we had questions and her can-do attitude continued after we arrived. Charlotte and Adrian are fantastic hosts; we even went to dinner with them a couple of times at restaurants that are frequented by locals. They gave us great tips, including to a lightly advertised tiara collection on display at Sotheby’s. The king room where we stayed was nicely appointed. Anyone who has been to London knows that hotel bathrooms there can be micro-sized. That’s not the case here. It’s clear that Charlotte and Adrian made it a priority to have good-sized bathrooms and showers, something we often take for granted when staying at places in the US. The location is enviable … a leafy street within easy walking distance of good restaurants, a tube stop and even Stamford Bridge, home of the Chelsea Football Club. We will definitely be staying at Barclay House again the next time we visit London.

These guests were so organised that they had planned some downtime--an absolute top tip when traveling in Europe! So, they had time to share a local meal with us as well as take in a high end exhibit that we suggested, held at an auction house. Having re-booked their planned stay from 2019 to 2020 and then to 2022, we'd had a bit of time to get to know one another by email; an exceptional positive outcome of the big pandemic. We enjoyed hearing their travel stories and picked up some great ideas from them, too. What a joy it is to share our Victorian terraced townhouse with seasoned travelers! Thank you for pointing out our marble-clad bathrooms and HansGrohe Axor Raindance showers; you won't be the first guests contemplating investing in this exceptional shower experience. Looking forward to your next visit. In the meantime, send us your friends and keep up with us on Instagram:@boutiquelondonbnb

Loved our 5 day stay at Barclay house and can’t wait to visit again. It was a home away from home with a little kitchen full of treats and necessities too! Felt so well looked after as I became unwell and it was lovely to be staying in such comfort when you are thousands of miles away from home and unwell. Loved our front king room and hope to return to it later this year. Great location to tube and local eateries too.

Our son recently got married at the Old Town Hall
Chelsea, London.
When visiting London in the past, we have always stayed at a hotel, but this time we chose the Barclay House Bed and Breakfast. The location in Fulham gave us easy access to the wedding events and also provided the opportunity to become familiar with another London neighborhood.
We were not disappointed and actually were very pleased. We had the King room, which proved to be an ample size, with convenient storage for our numerous “wedding event”’outfits.
Our hosts, Charlotte and Adrien were welcoming and accommodating. Especially with our unusual needs relating to the wedding. (Hair Salons, shoe repair, dry cleaning, etc.)
They were always present, but never intrusive. The smart, efficient breakfast bar was stocked with good choices for breakfast, lovely teas and delicious coffee. The perfect start to our day, without the obligation of a specific timed of sit down breakfast.
We were thrilled with the entire experience. Lovely
Bedding, comfortable mattress, smart bathroom and shower - and so much more.
We highly recommend the Barclay House for a quick weekend drop in or for an extended stay. Yes, it is that comfortable. We look forward to our next visit to this city, we will make Barclay part of our plan.

Glad you enjoyed discovering our convenient corner of London! It was a pleasure to host you. You discovered another neighbourhood gem; a proper shoe cobbler around the corner is such a rarity these days. We actually have a regular guest from California who returns each time with another pair of fine Ferragamo shoes, to have them repaired overnight at Romski’s.

Staying with Charlotte and Adrian at Barclay House is a delight! The accommodations feel like home away from home in a perfect location in Fulham. Charlotte and Adrian are welcoming, helpful, and a pleasure to spend time with. The breakfast bar and separate spaces also give this B&B a much more independent feel than other places my spouse and I have stayed. In the morning we could have delicious and healthy breakfast on our own and connect with Charlotte and Adrian whenever in the day that we wanted guidance or company. We found that this was a respite from highly scheduled group breakfasts that we've experienced at other B&Bs.
In addition, the rooms were very comfortable and they were equipped with everything we needed. And if we needed any assistance, Charlotte and Adrian pointed us in the right direction or provided us with help. When we needed shirts pressed for a formal affair, Charlotte sorted it immediately. When we return to London, Barclay House will always be at the top of our list of places to stay.

A five-star studded affair was the reason for this stay and we so enjoyed ‘helping out’ behind scenes. Those hats!! Thank you for explaining how our grab and go breakfast bar worked well for your busy schedule. We’ll look forward to another drink with you, overlooking the chimney tops of London, on our roof terrace.

Barclay House, our new home away from home when in London. We will stay at this delightful B&B each time we visit this endlessly fascinating city. Perfect for relaxation, our room was extremely comfortable and very well appointed, a comfortable bed, soft linens, excellent lighting, and a gleaming bathroom. Located on a quiet street, yet just a short block from a bustling neighborhood with restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacies, a Whole Foods, multiple bus lines, and a tube line that took us everywhere we wanted to go, easy and fast. Do get the Oyster Card for quick access to the tube or a bus. Our delightful hosts, Charlotte and Adrian, were most helpful with restaurant suggestions, special exhibits, and tips on places to visit that we might have otherwise missed such as the Wallace Collection. Thank you, Charlotte and Adrian for a wonderful visit to London! See you next time!

Stuart and Stephanie

Futures guests will appreciate all the details and tips in your thoughtful review; thanks so much for thinking of them. What a lovely time we had hosting you for an initial several nights and then you decided to stay for further several nights. So glad we could exchange enthusiasm for the light and vast skies of Mexico and the southwest of the USA. As well, you are well travelled, so, we had so many touch points to cover over cocktails; Adrian enjoyed playing a bit of music for you, too. Charlotte and Adrian were excellent hosts, they couldn't do enough for me. Flight changes, delays, all taken in their stride, no fuss, extremely accommodating. Barclay house location is great for me, close to the tube, easy access to 2 Covid testing labs (important for me for travel), pubs and restaurants and the general area is nice for a morning run or stroll. My room was perfect, easy come and go with really good but uncomplicated security. Next time when I'm with my wife we'll go for the big front room, tons of space.

Another five-star guest. So glad you’ll be returning in the next few months; that is the best compliment of all. With so many flight ‘challenges’ these days, we remain super flexible about arrival times—glad we could even change your day of arrival. Whatever it takes, we’ll are staying as flexible as possible for our guests.

Truly jet setting guests with one in the cockpit. How wonderful that you have connections here in London’s Chelsea/Fulham neighbourhoods; and so, our guest rooms were smack in the middle of everyone you visited. Thank you for the compliments and we’ll look forward to your next sojourn to all good things off the Fulham Road.

The Barclay House London Boutique B&B is an amazing place to stay while visiting London. We just spent 4 nights there in the king suite. The room was gorgeous and very clean. They provide adapters for your phone chargers and other plugs. The bed was very comfortable. The host Charlotte and Adrian are very friendly and are great hosts. When arriving we were greeted by Charlotte who had a tray of yummy croissants . Adrian took us on a walking tour of Fulham. They also had us up for a delicious pasta dish one evening while we were visiting . The house is located on a quiet street that is a short walk to many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and other type of retail locations. A short walk to Fulham Broadway underground station, so you can easily hop on the tube and get to central London quickly. There are also bus stops close by. Stamford Bridge home of Chelsea FC is just a short walk down Fulham Street, less than 5 minute walk. On our next trip to London, we will definitely stay at the Barclay House.

It was a pleasure to invite you for supper one night and we hope to see you, family and friends in the future. Hop on that non-stop flight, again!! It isn’t close. Barclay house is in Fulham, so it will take you about 25 minutes in the tube plus 15 minutes walk. A cab will take 20 minutes + without traffic. Maybe you can find a good b&b closer, I do not know, anyway, the Barclay is a great place in West London and I love it.
