The cups and cutlery were dirty, dishwasher not working, Bathrooms really rundown, rotten and unclean, carpets tired, water damage, rubbish found, when you have a shower the water leaks through the ceiling and through the light fixings which is not good at all. Owner really unhelpful, and did not seem concerned by our issues. Please do not stay here. If...

I wish i had read earlier reviews before booking. I stayed here on the 22/09/14 for 3 nights. This accommodation was booked for 8 adults as clearly described in the advert from the company i used. The accommodation can only house 6 adults (3 double bedrooms only) therefore we had a family member sleeping in the utility room on a...

We rented Hyde Park Garden Mews for the second time just before Christmas and it did not disappoint. Having read the previous reviews I was really worried, so I contacted the owner directly and he reassured me the place would be ready, clean and warm. He kept his promise and the house was clean, very warm and we had a...

When you arrive it's quaint, cobbled street with a family look living area, but look close and it needs decorating and a damn good clean, curtains walls were all marked, it doesn't sleep the amount it states unless you want your children to sleep in the garage!! My children had to sleep with family as there was not enough bedding...

We booked a 3 bed 3 bathroom apartment at the Mews for 5 nights, travelling as a family group of three married couples. The location was very good and overall, the concept and layout good. The problem was that the owner was let down miserably by his cleaning contractors. The place was [not to mince words] filthy. It simply had...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
