It was a terrific experience. The rooms were ridiculous dirty (even the counter at the reception was sticky), the service disgusting, it's not allowed to pay with credit card (nor debit), etc, etc. I wouldn't recommend to stay here even to my enemies.

This hostel should be shut down, and from what I can gather it has been recently, but somehow manages to re open. I have felt safer sleeping in the city centre in South Africa. I spoke to other residents who s friends had checked out early due to finding used syringes on the floor in the bathrooms. The 'kitchen' is...

I was doing London on a budget, so the tiny rooms were fine, I even didn't mind that we were given damp blankets. Getting ripped off £16 on arrival which was paid as a deposit then not credited to the overall bill really annoyed me, but I had been on a plane for 2 days and had nowhere else to...

It's a pretty cheap establishment but it's ok since I was on a tight budget. It's perfect for teens/students who want to visit London for few days or if you are an immigrant worker for a while. The rooms are a bit crowded and the shower/toilet facilities are not that clean but it's normal since they are shared. It has...

Under no circumstances should anybody be subjected to the Zenith Hostel, Islington. I am aware that sometimes you will read a scathing review and think "Well, it won't be that bad. They're probably just quite a picky bunch so let's risk it" but this place deserves every part of the brutal attack currently being hammered into my keyboard. Over the...

The hostel consists of 2 floors of rooms packed with bump beds above a bar in a run-down Victorian building, the toilets and showers were unmaintained and there was a funny smell throughout the building, so if your OK with very basic, its fine, I personally did not feel comfortable there, but if your on a budget its sufficient. The...

This place is pretty disgraceful, I would urge anyone to avoid this place dirty smelly and messy like a student house perhaps worse. I really cannot see a positive thing to say about this place truly depressing in every way. Hell Hole!

This hostel is DISGUSTING to say the least, first all the amenities on the website are lies, no lockers no luggage storage no credit card facilities and all the pics on the website must have been taken somewhere else because its definitely not this hostel! when we checked in the guy in the bar refused to give us a key...

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the greedy management. Instead of help you they will laugh at your face. Those guys don't know what "hospitality" means. Examples: - if you get late to the hostel you'll probably won't have a bed. This didn't happen to me but I saw it everyday. They always overbook and offer you...

The hostel is really cheap (£7 / nights!!) But I quickly understood why. Rooms are okay but I haven't use the bathroom, it was totally out of order or abandonned, I don't really know. It's like if the bathroom have't been washed for 100 years ! The breakfast is awfull. You eat you don't know what and you are not...
