Consistently excellent Great employees. Clean. Very quiet. Location fab. Very cheap. Great wifi too. Ideal for business travellers. Been staying over a year would not go elsewhere. Cleanliness perfect too.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 15 October 2016

As we walked up the Whitechapel Road towards the hotel, we were struck by the wide ethnic mix of the neighbourhood. It was almost like being back in Egypt. As we arrived, the Muezzin was even calling the Faithful to prayer. The hotel was welcoming and friendly. Our room was small but well-designed. The bed was comfortable and plenty big...

Well, you get what you pay for! Worse thing was shower was literally in the room and opened directly onto the bed. Yes, there was no bathroom so to speak, just shower in the main room. Toilet was in the closet, between shower and exit door ... basically with flimsy plywood door and nothing more. You best be comfortable with...

We stayed in a 3 person rooom, double decker. Room's clean and just nice if you only need a bed and to freshen up. If you have kids then maybe you might wanna look for a more spacious room. Location is great too. Just about 10mins walk from Underground. There's also convenient stores around the area. Very satisfied stay❤️

Ideally situated close to the tubes at Whitechapel, Aldgate East and Aldgate this is a great base for exploring London. Always welcoming staff and the refurbished lounge and breakfast areas are comfortable. I love the IBIS beds and the rooms are adequate for a short stay (missed the kettle though so buy something to drink when you wake up). Don't...

A bed to sleep in for the night, so mission accomplished there. Didn't try the breakfast. The location isn't the greatest, but there is a tube stop 5 mins along the road. Ideal for a trip to London on a budget.

This hotel was so so. To be honest, ive stayed in better hotel Ibis Budgets. The location is not very desirable and I felt quite unsafe walking around the streets round the hotel. The hotel was clean but the bathroom situation is dire - open bathroom, no lock on toilet door, see through shower. Not great when you are staying...

The hotel scores well on price, location, lack of noise and good value breakfast. However it lacks any tea or coffee making device in the bedrooms. I know the hotel chain is French but this is London!

I stayed here for one night following a night out. The staff were cheerful and always happy to help. The room was clean and well set out with a comfortable bed. Facilities are basic but I had a good nights sleep. All in all, good value for the £59 I paid. Convenient for the city too. The day after my...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
