Stayed for 3 nights recently at this hotel, after much searching for a suitable hotel in London. Had read the reviews on Trip Advisor and Mr and Mrs Smith about the hotel and decided it to try it. The location is very central, 5 mins from Baker Street station which connects with most of the underground lines, and also within... More

I can't give this hotel 5/5 as it's not quite as good as it's sister hotel, the covent garden hotel but of course it's much cheaper too. As an indication it was 40% cheaper and is still in a good location to access the city for business meetings. The room I had was small but had a comfortable bed and... More

We stayed here a couple of nights at new year. Very smart room and modern bathroom. The staff here were really engaging and pleased to help. They even did some research for us about local New Year's Eve activities. Couldn't be more helpful! Food also very nice with an excellent breakfast.

Really convenient location minutes away from Marylebone and Baker Street stations. The hotel is set in Georgian buildings so the rooms are quite small but perfectly convenient and comfortable. The decor is stylish and characterful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had one breakfast in the basement which was just okay. The coffee was not delicious nor were the... More

A late booking into the unknown and what a delightful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing. The room was most comfortable, quiet and a great night sleep. As with other hotels in the Group, the furnishings were amazing. If you are looking for 5 stars quality at an affordable price, then stay at this London gem. A... More

Can't recommend highly enough. Stayed three nights with my sister. Excellent service. Superb location. Dorset Square room is a gem. Marleybone also lovely, but lower level and without a view. Both beautifully furnished. Can't commend the staff enough. Really excellent, discreet, cheerful, polite, attentive, thoughtful staff. Exceptional

This was the second Firmdale hotel I stayed at during my recent England trip. I had a lovely, nicely-sized room on the first floor that overlooked the street but wasn't too noisy. The staff was lovely, from greeting me when I arrived to giving me an Oyster card for the tube that another guest had left behind when I asked... More

First time at Dorset square but a seasoned firmdale resident and this is another little gem in their collection. Much more intimate and those in the centre of town but still the warm welcome and little luxurious you look for. If you are staying this side of town it's a must

This a boutique hotel right in the heart of Marlybone, near the Baker St Tube stop. Helpful friendly staff, the rooms are nice but small. We had to change rooms once because of the size. Very clean, beautiful amenities, excellent and generous breakfasts.

our room was not ready when we arrived early but we waited in their very nicely decorated living room. The staff is extremely friendly and was accommodating because our first room was on the ground floor and we could hear the subway at night. They moved us to the 3rd floor. both rooms were well decorated, on the smaller side... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
