My employer's agent booked this accommodation and when I arrived at the miniscule reception, I was peremptorily told in halting English that there was a strict prepayment policy and I needed to pay with the card used to secure the booking. I am not permitted by my employer to pay direct nor do I have their agent's credit card so...

Stayed here for two weeks. It's 15 minutes walking distance from shepherd's bush subway. The rooms are cleaned or tidied everyday. What the room misses is a washing machine and an oven. There's a microwave in the room, but I find those quite useless (I don't eat ready/student meals). A major plus is the shower. The largest one I've come...

I went for a weekend break to London with my husband, teenage daughter and her friend. The apartment while small was ideal, clean, well equipped and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The area had some love shops and eating places and apartment block was very close to the tube station with a Star Bucks and Supermarket across the...

Clean modern if basic rooms but extremely poor service. The customer is expected to do everything because there is no reception when you need it (who needs a hotel reception between 10am and 5pm?!?!?!?) and when you have a problem with your room, it's the customer's responsibility to sort it out. Also, because there's no reception and the sister hotel...

Be advised, if you arrive after 6pm you will need to go to another hotel 'just around the corner' to collect your key. The sales pitch does not advertise this point. Not a serious handicap you may say, but a major irritation if it's raining, wet and cold. The 3rd floor room was just as illustrated in the description, no...

Positive; Stayed on ground floor, in a room for 4. Studio spacious, very clean and modern. Negative; The room was exceptionally cold to the point of us being uncomfortable and having to sleep in clothes to try and stay warm. The blinds in front of the large windows moved from the draught seeping through, and only one very small radiator...

Stayed here for a show at Olympia. The cost wasn't cheap but the hotel was. Firstly, there is no signs outside this hotel so if you're looking for the hotel you need to look out for the number 83 which is on the outside. No good if you don't have the number though!. This hotel / studios is essentially a...

We visited this hotel as we were attending a function at the Royal Albert hall, although it's a bit of a walk the number 9 or number 10 bus takes you there from the corner of Kensington high st! It was a great relaxing stay even though it was only for one night the convenience of having the kitchenette was...

We booked for one night, to attend an event at Olympia. The good: it's really close to Olympia. The bathroom looked nice. The room was clean. The not so good: Checking in was shambolic. The staff left us standing on the doorstep ringing the bell for at least two minutes before buzzing us in. The entrance hall was full of...

I have stayed in 4 different hotels during my visit to London, and the Kensington studios is absolutely the best one.. The room was clean and the bed was sooo comfortable and nice, the room size is good and it's a minute walk to the Kensington Olympia overground station..
