Stayed for 1 night (Saturday). Check-in efficient for room on 8th floor facing internal courtyard so quiet overnight. Room basic but clean with kettle/tea/coffee. No drawers only shelves and limited hanging space. We pre-paid breakfast which was very comprehensive apart from only poached eggs - no scrambled/fried option. Hotel situation very good near transport and can walk to many "tourist"...

Booked here for one night as visiting an exhibition at Tate Modern. Very easy to get to - only a few moments from Southwark Tube station. Great location for visiting not only Tate Modern but also the Globe Theatre, Golden Hinde 2, Southwark Cathedral etc. Room was clean and bright. We didn't eat in the hotel as lots of places...

I stayed here ahead of attending a training course the following day at Blue Fin, a 5 minute walk away. The location is excellent; a couple of minutes' walk from Southwark Station, slightly further away from the Thames and Blackfriars Bridge. Check-in was one of the strangest I have experienced (excluding check-in in India), with everything being done from in...

This was my first experience of staying at an Ibis hotel and I was very impressed. Rooms are well equipped with comfortable bed, shower pod, TV etc - all brand new and much better quality than, say, Premier Inn or Travelodge. Several comfortable public areas for reading etc and the bar / restaurant is comfortable and good value. Staff throughout...

Very dark room without any daylight windows which are the opened and it smelt a bit. Very tidddly size including the bathroom which was also grim. The restaurant for breakfast is over run in the morning is so make sure you get in early it's just not enough space

First stay in this particular Ibis. On-line check-in is great and key was quickly available when we arrived. Room a good size but a little plain though we loved the capsule bath/shower room. Nice bar area and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit chaotic in terms of having to wait for seating but was not a big...

I have just returned from a 3 day trip to London with my boyfriend and thought this hotel should be pointed out to others as a hidden gem. The whole hotel feels so secure and safe and you are only a few hundred yards from Southwark underground station on the Jubilee Line. There is always availability to get a drink...

Nice modern hotel in a good part of town, about 15 minutes walk from London Eye. Good clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast. Pretty hot everywhere in the hotel though, a bit like in an elderly home.
