I stayed here with my best mate, and we just wanted somewhere relatively cheap with a great location! Landmark Apartments lived up to this in full. We arrived a bit early compared to the informed check-in time, but got our room almost an hour earlier, without any extra charges. We weren't bothered by any noise from the streets, at all!...

Great but noisy location near lots of restaurants. The apartments are small but functional- do not expect to get what you see in the promo material. It is clean though. Check in was easy although I never like having my ID photocopied like they do here. The bed was a bit squishy for my liking. I got a good price...

When we stayed here the bathroom door was wonky and fell off and we were unable to use the bathroom all night. Was late so there was no one to help and no reply to email when complained about this. We couldn't use the toilet or shower for 12 hours, and there was no apology from staff when we told...

My second time staying here and some of the reviews seem a bit harsh. I encountered no problems, the room I stayed in was quite small but for the price and location I was in it was very justified. The staff were useful but the reception is only open until 6pm. Would stay here again as cheap price for shoreditch/...

Problems started at the arrival, couldn't check in if I didn't have the same credit card that the apartment was paid with, after a long telephone call with my travel agency I was finally allowed to see my apartment. It was a tiny room that could give anyone a claustrophobic feeling, the window was to small to use as an...

This hotel is so bad, nothing worked. No hot water in the morning, no service, nobody at the reception, no one was answering the phone when I called to tell them that we did not have any hot water and it was freezing outside. Next day: we had to open the water tap from the sink to be able to...

I booked 2 stays with this hotel, one in November and one in December. Both were booked on hotels.com. When I arrived to check in for the November visit, I was told there was a problem with the rooms and I'd been booked into another hotel 15 minutes away. They booked a taxi which took me to Finsbury Park, a...

The room was clean and comfortable, only downside being a very small bathroom. Very much a flying visit so no opportunity to use any of the facilities (including WiFi) but had no real problems. Check-in was a little chaotic (but the staff were v friendly) and there were LOTS of stairs so probably wouldn't be suitable to all but wasn't...

I can't stress enough that I will never stay here again. Booked an apartment for a little bit of space so we could relax.........all I can say is the photographer was fantastic, he made this apartment look spacious and inviting........far from it. Checking in...... what a nightmare, copy of credit cards required (even though we had paid through an agent...

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
