This is my favourite B&B in England and certainly in London. The room is very comfortable and the very clean bathroom is beside it. Breakfasts are do-it-yourselfs, so you get what you want. The garden is lovely in the evening. Ruth , John and Gerry are great hosts and always entertaining and so helpful.

The 3 days staying at Fig Tree House were amazing. Best of all was the breakfast with a large variety of food, fresh juice and coffee. Moreover John and Ruth are lovely people and always happy to have a chat.

I recently stayed at Fig Tree House and can heartily recommend it. It's a lovely house, very close to the station and Ruth was very welcoming and helpful. My comfortable room at the back of the house overlooked the fabulous garden which apparently was part of an orchard at one time. This guest house is excellent value for money!

We stayed at the Fig tree house b&b for one night in a twin room. Ruth and John are lovely and so welcoming. The beds were really comfortable and the house was very clean and tidy. Location is perfect, a 2 minute walk to Hither Green train station which can take you to central london in 15mins. The price was... More

I stayed with Ruth and John for three nights. They are a very kind couple and let me feel totally welcome. The house is situated in a quiet region in south-east London, 2 Minutes near Hitting Green rail station. Its an original house, modern equipped and furnished with love. It has a nice little green garden. I especially loved my... More

This was my third visit in three years and it was just as good as the other two times. John & Ruth are the best hosts and are willing to help in any way they can. To me they’re not hosts but friends. Location is a short 3-5 minute walk to Hither Green rail station which gets you into central... More

I stay with Ruth & John for weeks or months at a time when working in London on business. It's always a pleasure and I regularly hear similar good things from people staying for long or short trips. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Simon

Ruth and John are outstanding hosts. Nice breakfast and outstanding coffee. Hither Green is calm, so the best place for recreation after a long Day in London. Also You find a Supermarket and Restaurants. No doubt: we will recommend it to our Friends. Big Thumb!

Had to go to London for family occasion. Received a warm welcome from Ruth and John. Accommodation was excellent, clean, warm, comfortable, great value and the atmosphere was friendly throughout my stay. I have already recommended 'Fig Tree House' B&B to family and friends if ever in London. Paul G.
