Customer service was excellent, in a very attractive hotel with a spa, great food and very comfortable and spacious rooms. Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast and dining room are gorgeous. The whole building is stunning and not what I expected. The history of the building accounts for the space which is light and airy.

We chose the hotel as it was very close to the Palladium and the location is certainly a real plus point. Staff on the reception were efficient and helpful and check in was quick. The room was on the first floor and a basic double. It was certainly quiet, clean and adequate for our needs for one night but did...

Dear CatWomanSP, Thank you for you feedback on your recent stay with us. It sounds like you enjoyed your visit to London. Some of the down sides of being so central in London can indeed be that the views wont be great, and as we are indeed sandwiched into office buildings not all rooms can offer a more appealing sight....

Unless you know what you are looking for you could walk right pass it, narrow frontage with a blue and white mat with the name of the hotel up a couple of steps and you meet two automatic doors which have been there since 1930 and another r mat in a narrow entrance on the left is the restaurant and...

Dear 165000, Thank you for your comments. We appreciate you feedback about the hotel maybe not being as easy to find however this is due to the building being Grade II listed and therefore nothing can be done to the exterior of the building. Luckily most people know where to find us now which is great!

What a shame. This hotel has a perfect setting and would do well if it considers keeping the theme of an historic English court running through out, instead they have furnished it with tables and seating from an Indian restaurant which completely spoils it. There are cells in the bar which are cool and funky but then the rest of...

Dear Cathy A, We have also received your email, and would like to offer our apologies for the poor experience you had over the weekend. We are actually looking at replacing the bar furniture as part of our refurb project. There is no excuse for the poor breakfast service and this has been given top priority for the Chef and...

What a brilliant hotel. Perfect location 25 minute walk from Victoria station. Then everything else was within 10 minutes. Eg west end and restaurants. Room was Large with a big double bed. Very modern classic feel. Seemed quite new. Would highly recommend if you want a nice hotel and not just a bed for the night

Dear MikeCSussex, Thanks you for your comments, you must be a fast walker :-) . I would struggle getting from Victoria to the hotel in 25 minutes, but alternatively from Victoria station we are only 2 Tube stops away on the Victoria line. Nice to hear that you enjoyed your room and like the modern classic feel of the room....

A quirky hotel in an excellent location to shop and visit London. I had read some indifferent reports about the hotel so made some requests in advance of our stay which were all met. It's reasonably expensive, but that is down to location and is classified as a five star hotel, with our room being clean and well laid out...

Very pleasant stay. Great location close to SOHO, Regent street and Oxford street and yet quiet. The breakfast was excellent and was based on a buffet with...

The only thing this hotel has got going for it is its location. Although listed as a 4* the service and decor is mediocre at best. The rooftop bar was closed when we went there (which would have been a major attraction) and the main bar downstairs was distinctly unwelcoming, despite having the cuteness factor of being located in the...

We went for a champagne cinema evening in the hotel. The drinks were very expensive once you had the one that was included. The facilities in the cinema were limited I.e. Dear Laura P, Thank you for coming to one of our Cinema evenings and hope you enjoyed the screening. Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
