We had lunch at the Soho Hotel followed by a movie in their private screening room. Absolutely superb - food was exceptional, really good. Roast Beef with giant Yorkshire Pud, Baked Haddock with Salsa Verde, really delicious. £35pp for a 3 course lunch and a movie in arguably one of London's most stylish hotels - brilliant. Great for couples/friends and...

Wonderfull hotel! We had a big room, with great floor to ceiling windows. The staff is just amazing, from the concierges to the receptionist to the waiters! Lots of extra touches like free water bottles, a box of macaroons and DVDs to watch in your room. Location is great. Although somewhat pricey I would certainly stay there again.

I stayed at the Soho Hotel for 2 nights in May after falling in love last year with its sister hotel in New York. I was not disappointed. The hotel is beautiful and has loads of character as a result of Kit Kemp's interior design. I had quite a lot of work to do and loved sitting in one of...

If you can afford it, I strongly recommend the Soho. Location is perfect for tourist sites and theater, with a safe walk home late at night. You will see a lot of locals in the restaurant, which is excellent for breakfast, tea (served with pretty china - not just white), lunch, dinner and the bar. You can be served or...

We love having weekends in London to shop, dine in good restaurants and relax. We have stayed in lots of 5 star hotels but this one is really special. Our Junior Suite room was large, airy and well designed. The rooms have an individuality using wonderful fabrics and colours whilst still feeling restful and calm. The bathroom was large and...

We have stayed at many different high end hotels in London but this one leaves all the others standing. The prices are on the high side but perfection costs money - and this place is perfection personified. If your thinking a out choosing this hotel, think no longer and do it! There is quite simply nothing we can say bad.

My husband & I have just stayed her for a weekend for our 20th wedding anniversary. I love this hotel for many reasons. But mostly because the staff are great at their job & make you feel so welcome. We stayed in a junior suite. Lively room, comfy bed & all the facilities you could ask for. We had lunch...

The location is fabulous, right beside the central and northern line. Considering it is off Oxford street and in the heart of Soho, the room was very quiet. The junior suites are large, tastefully decorated with a huge bathroom. The service was friendly with a touch of snobbery thrown in to keep you in your place!

Stayed in all the top hotels in London, this is now my favourite. Great service, room was luxurious & bed was like a cloud. Fantastic lively bar, good breakfast. Location is perfect for theatres etc. Stayed in deluxe room, very spacious. Will be returning.

Stayed a night here a few weekends ago to celebrate a friend's birthday and have some quality kids-free relaxation, and the hotel was absolutely perfect. Cool decor, spacious, comfortable rooms with huge comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms. Two of us visited the spa and floated back out again - bliss! We went to the bar where staff got wind of...

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
