Stayed at the Elysee Hotel for 2 nights on the back end of my GB trip. After staying at another boutique London hotel for one night earlier in week I expected another very small but clean room this time around. The room was VERY small, but beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was a bit larger than I expected, so...

I booked this hotel because it had descent reviews, was near Hyde park, and was one of the few affordable hotels I found in London. The room was clean. The bed was soft by comparison to many we slept in on our trip, but still pretty firm. It was also pretty much a tiny box and was hard for two...

We stayed 1 night in room 20A. Near the lift but we didn't hear any noise. The room was big enough and had everything we needed. Safe, heater, air con, tea and coffee. Shower room was small but as I didn't want to dance in the bathroom that was fine. Everything worked and everything was clean and smelt fresh. Good...

Room was small as expected (from reviews I read) but very adequate with everything I needed. Room was impeccably clean and nicely decorated, felt fresh. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Staff very friendly and helpful. On arrival the receptionist informed me that the rooms are small and upgraded me from a single room...

Firstly, a lot of reviewers seem to forget this is London, the worst city in the world for hotels so I am grading this in light of that and according to its budget. Don't be put off by the scaffolding! If you want somewhere central that is clean, warm, quiet and secure, this is definitely your place. (Again this isn't...

The outside if the Elysee looks nice but inside it smells damp, looks muffy and cramp. The hallways look more like emergency exits and isn't inviting. Rooms were also small but were clean and (mine) had windows. Does this place need a redecoration? Well ... why bother it is just about ok but not anything more than that.

Our stay wasn't great, the staff were really friendly and helpful, I can't fault them at all! its a great location, straight off the tube, easy to find and right next to Hyde Park. It was also nice and clean. However we had the worst night sleep and for the price we paid it wasn't up to standards! We were...
