From its name, one could expect something quite grand. And a grand thing about it is its location. And the price. After that, be prepared for the most basic accommodation. We found our rooms to be clean and the bed was comfortable enough. Be prepared to use a shared bathroom and lavatory. On our floor, it was one of each... More

I attended the glamoursly named "International House Waterloo" as part of an overnight stay in the Capital with work. We were holding a conference for our clients and we needed somewhere that was large enough to hold the group but also within a reasonable budget. Having read mixed reviews on here and keft with little options due to timings, we... More

Staff were pleasant but didn't seem to be aware of the booking which was not very reassuring. The room was on the fifth floor (although one of our party was older and they had been advised of this). We were left to find the room ourselves. Shabby, stained and torn carpets, dirty walls, no sink in room etc all made... More

I stayed here for four weeks whilst interning down in London and struggled to find fault. International House was, in my opinion, well worth the price-although basic, my room was spacious and clean with plenty of storage space for clothing, books and toiletries. The accommodation is less than a ten minute walk from Waterloo station and there are a selection... More

I stayed in London on a Thursday night as was seeing friends. London accommodation is, in general, quite costly so I thought I would think outside the box a little and try something different. I looked at hostels, and private rooms in hostels but then thought about looking at university accommodation. This was when I stumbled across International House. The... More

International house is a bargain for people wanting to save on accommodation in London. It's not flash granted but although a bit old and worn my room was very comfy. My room had a single bed a desk and chair, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe that had a sink as well. My room was on the second floor(208)... More

This place should not have the high reviews. Granted this is cheap, if i had stayed in a hostel I would have felt more comfortable. Rooms are single rooms but the bathrooms are shared and it is not cleaned regularly. So filthy everyday. There was no hot water one morning when i wanted to have a shower. Told reception desk... Good affordable accommodation in an awesome part of london. This is walking distance from the eye and right across the river from westminster. The rooms are old and very basic with just a bunk, sink and cupboards. 4 rooms per wing with a dunny and shower this is definately no hotel! There are students living here and that needs to... More

This student dorm/hotel puts you literally a block away from the Imperial War Museum in London. We were easily within walking distance from the London Eye. Front desk service was excellent. We couldn't access the free wifi, but they may have it shutoff for summer. The showers/toilet were shared among four rooms but I think we were the only guests... More
