A great place to stay, so close to the tube, food outlets, shops, restaurants, parks, etc. Wonderful to be able to prepare our own meals, have a friend/s to visit and a bit of space. I would recommend this place to any couples visiting London.
We arrived at midday on the Friday of our weekend stay and we were made to feel very welcome by Ruth. Our room (room 11) on level 5 of 44 Curzon Street was ready for us which was a lovely surprise.

We stayed for 5 nights in this apartment. The apartment we were given was on the 4th floor with narrow winding stairs that for me in my late 50's found very scary. Trying to get luggage up there was awful. Superficially the apartment looks ok...More
Check in went fine, although the reception area is very cramped and the staff varies in professionalism. We had reserved a two bedroom flat through Expedia, but the staff at 44 Curzon contacted us three times to make sure of arrival times, bed preferences etc...More
It was a lovely flat in a great centrally located neighborhood...easy walk to tube, Hyde Park, restaurants and shopping. Extremely comfortable and having the kitchenette, which was well supplied with pots pans etc, was a great feature. Staff was generally friendly, but it would have...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even
if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

There is a direct line from the Heathrow to Green Park station that is a short walk to the flats. It was 5lbs5 and it took about 40 mins because it makes all the stops. You can take the express train but it stops at Paddington and you have to catch a cab or the subway to Green Park Station anyway. It's 28lbs but really fast (15mins). Took both and now would take the tube only. Also, there is an elevator at the Green Park station if you have heavy bags. The elevator opens on Picadilly, so it's easier to get oriented about where you are from the elevator.
Yes there is. Lots of cafes which sell great coffee. A pub just behind which had decent dinners. It's in a great location. Green Park up the road. Tesco supermarket next door if you want an affordable dinner.
