In my opinion this hotel deserves a bit more than just 2 stars. It is located in a city center, very close to the metro station. Also, I liked the possibility to connect my laptop to the TV. Besides, you can use the iron, etc....More
Stayed here because of location. It is right by one entrance to Aldgate East tube station. Room was clean and didn't feel crowded for a London hotel room! Bed could have been a bit more comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.
We were in London for one night and booked this hotel because it was one of the best rates we could get for the quality vs. price factor. The hotel is located in the financial district less than a minute walk from a tube station...More

Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a

The hotel is easy to get to from Kings Cross, they will need to get the eastbound Hammersmith and City line from the underground at Kings Cross and get off at Aldgate East, which is more or less next to the hotel. Staff at the hotel can help with directions in the area. To get to Stratford, where the stadium is, I think the best way would be to get the Central line eastbound from Liverpool Street underground. They could get to Liverpool Street either by the tube line (one stop heading west), or by walking up on Commercial Street and then through Spitalfields, which is a nice stroll.
