It seemed a little expensive but was actually well priced for the standard and location. There were tea and coffee making facilities, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer and the staff were lovely. I would have preferred breakfast included for the price but no qualms besides that.

Great hotel, customer service and location. Would highly recommend especially if you're going to the Tower of London area. Room was spacious with lovely facilities and it was very close to an underground stations so a access to other parts of London was easy

Good Location. Close to Tower, Tower Hill Tube and Trinity Square. Perfect for a city trip. Very nice and attentive staff. Spacious and well equipped room, comfortable bed, loved that bathroom had a tub and a walk-in-shower. Complimentary water, coffee, tea and cookies. In-room-breakfast was very good. Currently redecoration of ground floor, but it was no disturbance. Would stay again.

Excellent service, polite staff, no signs or sounds from the renovation works, restaurant was a nice experience and I highly recommend the scotch egg, room was comfortable and the sofa and balcony made it much more of an experience. Value was ok considering it was a stones throw from the Tower of london and the sights we went to see....

We stopped over for a long weekend in March and the room we had was fantastic. We booked a deluxe double and had a large seating area in a very well appointed room. The room seemed brand new and it felt like there might have been some refurbishment recently. Great weekend. Great value versus other London hotels. Good location. My...

Quite something went wrong this time. The room was not cleaned although our suitcases had been brought up. Latest then it should have been noticed, that the room was not clean. Anyway, such things happen. We were given an upgrade and a free breakfast without asking. The new rooms air condition (and thus heating as well) didn't work at all,...

I've been to the hotel a fee times before and I selected it again for my staynof 3 nights in March. Nothing has changed! At that's good as they already had a more than average service delivery. Again I was very pleased with the atmosphere, friendliness of staff and the room. Will come back a next time!

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
