We planned a last minute 2 day trip to London and booked a room at the Black Lion Pub. After a long day of touring London, we made our way too the pub. It was conveniently located off the underground. The room was clean, large and comfortable, but no luxuries. It was perfect for just a quick night's stay and...

I booked in here last minute and thought the pub was absolutely stunning although the rooms are quite basic. We ended up in a family room with a double, single, and bunk bed, for £85 the night with continental breakfast. Don't expect hotel service though, this is a B&B and the service matches. The younger men who checked us in...

Got my room last minute at a reasonable £65, but wouldn't pay any more than that for the prices the website charges. Reasonable enough size room, comfy enough bed, and in a brilliant location with links to everywhere you need to get to in London. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Was made to feel very...

The room was spacious, quiet and clean, tough our bathroom was really small. The pub downstairs is stunning and serve delicious hamburgers, but the breakfast was not one of the best..I'd recommend to add some hangers in the room, as we were four people and it was not easy to access the wardrobe.

Love this pub. Really beautiful decor, buzzing atmosphere and yummy cocktails. Also absolutely love their tapas style bar menu. Have eaten in the restaurant a few times as well and was very impressed with the food. Not cheap, but definitely not really expensive either.

Sorry I said a naughty word on my first review of this place, but I would never stay here again if it was given to me. The staff weren't very friendly the room was cold and you had to go past all the smokers to get in the back door ,to add to that you had to pass guys having...

This guest house is above a rather wonderful Regency/Victorian pub, the accomodation is somewhat basic but comfortable. This review comes with the caveat that it is not accessible to people with mobility issues (and neither is the local underground station, we discovered) as there are two sets of stairs and a further steeper set to the top floor. I cannot...

The Blacklion was great! Will definitely go back next time I'm in London. Room is a good size with everything you need. Staff were fantastic - Mary in particular was sooooo helpful and friendly. Having the bar downstairs was great with the discount on food/drinks for staying at the Blacklion. Couldn't have been happier with our stay!
